What made you think it would be? I mean, it's getting decent Radio 1 support and the like so stands as good a chance as any.

Excellent news that TCIA is album-only so it wont get a boost- although I dont think it will leave the top 10 this week

 

Wow, looks like a slow week apart from a new number 1 and a new entry by Basshunter, the rest could all miss the top 40

I don't think they should take the rap parts out of rap songs, that would just be silly, but I think they should have a rap-less version of songs that aren't mainly rap (eg. California Gurls without Snoop, Just Dance without Colby)

An old post but with regards California Gurls - they do, on the damned radio. :angry: Both Galazy and Forth 1 play a "mix" with Snoop Dog's rap part removed which completely wrecks the song IMO. And I don't even really like rap.

 

Why the radio stations do it though is beyond me - it surely doesn't have any "dodgy" lyrics in it, does it? :unsure:

Hans Zimmer - Time (from the Inception soundtrack).

 

I didn't think anyone would individually buy a song from a soundtrack, but it is a great instrumental. It'd be nice to see Mr. Zimmer get another top 40 hit (after his last one, the jovial 'Spider Pig').

 

It's still no 'Going For Gold' though.

Does Anyone Think The Saturdays could possibly get there first number 1 with Missing You..It's at #94 on the albums chart now(Only added Today).

 

I know hardcore fans will be preordering early but still It's pretty good considering Forever is over was in the low top 200 in albums a couple of weeks before release.

 

Also, Slightly off topic..There Album is in the top 20 Pre-Orders in music already in HMV it's a bargain for £6.99 and a free poster!
