COME ON AIRPLANES. One week is not enough, I'd only be happy if it lost its reign to Travie McCoy, The Hoosiers or Linkin Park but not that novelty crap

Have any of the top 3 got other versions charting?

Just We No Speak Americano, it's at #42, so it has a slightly larger lead.

Although I think Yolanda Be Cool is utterly dreadful I'm kind of hoping it goes to number one (same with that Stomae $h!t too) as I've always said that on here that songs not in English do well here, it's just that none ever get released and promoted and that the British Public can't buy foreign songs if they're not aware of their existence. Whereas most people seem to say it's because as a nation we're xenophobic and won't buy anything that we don't understand. Utter bollocks. When was the last time a foreign song was actually promoted? Probably the last time one was a decent success!!!

I agree with this (except I LOVE Yolanda's song).

It kind of speaks for itself the highest charting Eurovision 2010 song (okay, so it was only #81 but still) was in French. I wish this country would be less xenophobic in regards to foreign language songs.

Stromae always shoots up on iTunes every time it's played on the radio too. If R1 would playlist it it could be massive.

*cough* Satellite was in English.

Second highest then. :P

A French song still beat out all but one of the Eurovision entries, and the one it didn't beat was the winner.

48. Witchcraft - Pendulum

70. Saturday (Radio Edit) - Basshunter

198. All the Small Things - Jedward

Looks like none of the new releases will make much impact.

That should pave the way for Yolanda to get #1 :yahoo: :kink: As I keep saying, I'll shut up now

I will be totally shocked if any of the new entries this week even bother the Top 20 hope Pendulum can at least go Top 30.
SFG and Diana haven't moved... Pendulum  to 49, Basshunter  to 65, Jedward  to 197. Not much movement at all :( Boring week this week then, but at least Airplanes will be no.1 officially today, YBC next Sunday and Travie the Sunday after.

I don't want Basshunter to go top 10. I don't think it will though tbh judging by it's current position. I want Enrique to get a fourth week in the top 10. I'm so proud of his longevity. ^_^

Shame for Diana though. Hopefully she'll do a Kelis and still go top 40.

That reminds me, I need to go and buy Adam Lambert's WWFM.

I thought Usher might do quite well [not enough for #1] but is it well known yet?

I've noticed that the weeks Now compilations are released always tend to be rather quiet.

I just thought for a second Swedish House Mafia are flopping hard - but no, they've been pushed back to next week. They're on Now 76 (is 76 right? IDK really) but I guess they'll be album only as the single release hasn't happened yet
