  • Utterly heartbreaking. Some top tier journalism by Louis Theroux, will be interesting if the State goes after him now in the same way there’s been a coordinated attack on Kneecap. Really did hone in

What is that 11-year-old going to think about Israel as he grows up? That's why Israel's murderous campaign is so insane. It just stirs up further hatred against their state.

He has undermined his whole ethos of anti-war when you allow massacres that really weren’t necessary. Dropping bombs on tents of dozens of people is obscene then knowing it’ll overwhelm hospitals th

Biden's 'Outrageous' at the ICC makes America far too much of a friend to Israel here, pretty much proving the worst that the left has to throw at him for aiding and abetting a genocide.

Iranian President dying is nothing to mourn but I suspect it's just an accident unless Mossad have really been upping their game at seeding fog clouds (reader: they have not been doing that).

If he visits Washington can they arrest him or will the Americans protect him??

The Americans are not signed up to the ICJ, so the obligation to arrest him doesn’t apply in the USA.

God no, aside from the fact that they truly believe they are above all and won’t acknowledge a jurisdiction that is supranational, they’d be in line for so many war crime prosecutions that they’ll never sign up to it

Copied and pasted statements by the shadow cabinet on the Rafha attack isnt a good look Keir Starmer.

Even the Israeli government calling it a tragedy. The cynic in me thinks he’s watching what he’s saying after the last week!

Iran meanwhile continues to execute gay people, young people, rappers, mothers, students (see latest news, young rapper and young girl sentenced to death) who say something wrong or wear the wrong clothes; continue to finance terrorism across the region and are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of (mostly Muslim) people, and are intent on the destruction of Israel, democracy and execution of all gays, and subjugation of all women into being birth machines and sex toys and home keepers for men. Iran are not the good guys, and Muslim countries seem uninclined to be doing a thing for the Palestinian homeless while some leaders live abroad in luxury in the oil states.

If you want to keep an eye on what they are up to (because the media never reports it) Omid Djalili is up to speed on X...

I didn’t once say I supported Iran or Hamas mate it’s isn’t one and the same opinion!

With Hezbollah's leader killed, one might fear an all-out war in the Middle East is brewing

No. Any war between Lebanon and Israel has never directly involved Iran.

What Israel has been allowed to get away with in the last year has been very eye opening to just how complicit leaders and politicians can be to heinous evil. War crime after war crime. The other day they killed 700 Lebanese people in one day and barely got a reaction from UK politicians. Lebanon has a few useless rockets and no air defense. Gaza had next to nothing to fight back. Iran is too far away and most of their rockets would be intercepted before getting near Israel. So nothing can happen other than Israel doing whatever it wants with the best weapons known to man funded by the US taxpayer. Pretty astonishing state of affairs. Netanyahu has to be up there with Milosevic
The lack of international condemnation of this attack is the most shocking thing to me, as if the atrocities in Gaza weren't enough, Israel have moved to terrorising and killing the citizens of another UN state and nothing is being done to stop Netanyahu.
I've kind of missed why Lebanon too? Is there resources there Israel wants to poach?

Its reasoning is it is degrading Iranian proxies, as the missiles Hesbollah were sending displaced Israelis in the Golan Heights, and it feels threatened by how many well-armed proxies there are. That was repeated by the prime minister in his UN address. I''m not up to date on what is happening, just the reasoning they gave, as I saw that on CNN.

Hezbollah are in the weird position of being both a political party that Lebanese people support, and a militant group that gets funding from Iran to bother Israel's northern border with rockets. Obviously they are not good guys but Israel has tolerated them like they tolerated Hamas for so long and this escalation is pretty unjustified.

I think I'm also right in saying that Hezbollah are nowhere near as barbaric as Hamas, they're a much more professional organisation and more deeply embedded in Lebanon, so this escalation is also due to tie up Israel in battle for a long time. Which suits Netanyahu as he's only in power comfortably due to the crisis Israel's put itself in.

Israel tonight have now begun an invasion of Lebanon. Seems Israel is doing everything possible to prolong conflict for whatever reason. Pretty risky though, Lebanon isn’t Gaza, not straightforward
Iran's state-run news agency IRNA has now confirmed that Tehran's military has started launching ballistic missiles towards Israel.
Some missiles were intercepted over Jordan. Waves were launched from several locations in Iran. Another wave incoming shortly.
