Yeah, it'll definitely benefit from there being 2 *different* versions. Some people will no doubt want both versions.

With Flo being on the single, and the track being quite catchy, if the Sats release in a quiet week they have a (small) chance of finally getting that #1 (particularly as the Flo version won't be available for cherry picking).

 

If they release during X Factor season though, unless they are actually on the show to promote it (with Flo) then their chances are not just small, they're very small.

It well may be! Especially with Tinie, Labrinth and Magnetic Man being practically dead-certs. Kylie should get there as well but maybe she'll get top-10 a week earlier if she's lucky. The same with Sats. It will be better for both Sats and Kylie to sneak into the top-10 the week before.

Na, I think there doing the right thing. They need to release Died in your eyes around January or just at xmas time.. when album sales are strong etc. A ballad like that will help the album.. most defo at xmas time!

Yeah, I'm also a bit surprised how early they are releasing 'Higher'. But maybe they try to coincide the release with their reality show more, if it is far away (end of October) this reality-show won't have any effect. And now the hype is building up already, it is top-75 in iTunes!

 

I think this early release is fine but they should bring it back for a week when the times won't be that competitive.
