I'd put my bets on it being Heartbeat. I just hope DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love doesn't re-enter.

Whatever goes into the top 10, it won't be for a little while. Focus still has a decent lead over #11.

 

But yeah, it'll probably be Heartbeat.

The best 'Heartbeat' to me will always be Nneka's song (more specifically the Chase & Status remix, which was promoted as the single here)

I want 'Heartbeat' to be a hit/go top 10 for two reasons:

 

1 - Enrique deserves success and is quite underrated in general.

2 - If 'Heartbeat' is a hit, the label will want to release another single which will most likely be 'Dirty Dancer'. ^_^

I'm not getting the hype over Heartbeat :( It just seems to plod along and never go anywhere for a few minutes to my ears. It's ok as background music I suppose but I'm not 'wow I must listen to that song!' about it. I've not heard Dirty Dancer though so shall have a listen out for that as I did like I Like It.

Where did you find out about Capital go national! I love it! At least they're not biased about the songs they choose to play *cough* Start Without You *cough* :kink: They usually play whats popular and about at that time, plus some older songs!

Umm, no thanks. At least Radio 1 has variety, unlike that $h!t station that seems to play awful urban music all the time. :mellow:

Capital aims at different audiences, its goal is the masses.

But Capital and R1 won't be playing on the same level, since R1 has 100%, something Capital will not. Although I guess there is a threat looming for the future of Radio 1 since Capital beats R1 in London, Galaxy beats R1 in their respective markets, etc.

I think heartbeat is a lot better, i wouldnt have actually connected the two.
