Perry needs a 15th week in the chart!!!

Yes, she needs it. Her life would fall apart without that 15th week in the UK top 40

Summer 2010 was pretty $h!t :heehee:

Hopefully Airplanes will overtake this in the YTD chart, I have a feeling it might just miss the Y/E top 10... or scrape in at 9 or 10 at best.

The U.K-based teen pop outfit the Saturdays formed in 2007 under the auspices of Polydor's Fascination Records. The five-piece girl group sports an accessible, melodic electro-pop sound tailored for pop radio, not to mention eye-catching good looks. In 2008 their debut single, "If This Is Love," hit number eight on the U.K. charts, only to be surpassed by "Up," which made it to number five, and "Issues" which reached number four. Their full-length studio album, CHASING LIGHTS, appeared in late 2008, followed soon after by a cover of the Depeche Mode synth-pop classic, "Just Can't Get Enough." With Spice Girls-inspired colour-coordinated outfits and distinct musical personalities, the Saturdays instantly captured the attention of the U.K. media, appearing on several television shows including the drama HOLLYOAKS LATER and the children's show ROSS LEE'S GHOULIES. - HMV

UK pop quartet McFly burst on to the chart scene with a fresh twist on the boy band formula, they played their instruments! They wrote their own material! Lead vocalist and chief songwriter Tom Fletcher originally tried out for Busted, but when he was beaten to the position by Charlie Simpson the band's management held further auditions to form a new outfit centred around him. The links between the two bands were cemented when Fletcher contributed material for Busted b-sides, and the two bands toured together in 2003. The invaluable exposure from the tour helped push McFly's debut single, "5 Colours In Her Hair" to the top of the UK singles chart where it was promptly joined by debut full length ROOM ON THE 3RD FLOOR. Follow-up effort, WONDERLAND, matched that achievement and in 2006 they moved into the movies, starring alongside Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan in the film JUST MY LUCK. - HMV

Anything goes for Summer 2000  Memories, but 2010 has had some great summer anthems as well "Hot", "Stereo Love" and erm.... hmmm, never mind

Airplanes will overtake her. But she will most probably overtake Helping Haiti single, she only needs about 4.5k a week averagely by the end of the year to overtake it. She *might* end up in the low top-10 but 99% won't drop out.

This sounds like a better version of Bad Romance

I really like 'Misery' now, tons better than their last lead single... shame it didn't do well. :(
