I hate this crap nearly as much as I hate its carbon copy - Love The Way You Lie

Both are vile but still sell bucketloads. Pathetic.

They have wide appeal as crossover hits.

Not pathetic.

In what, they're rap singles with stunning women singing the chorus? In terms of mood and subject matter, they're pretty different.

2010 10 This Day

I prefer This Day to Focus, love to see where Focus ends up since the track has brick it on iTunes.
They have wide appeal as crossover hits.

Not pathetic.

The fact this type of music gets wide appeal nowadays is pathetic in my opinion.

I appreciate all these 'X Factor' / 'Must Be The Music' shows for discovering some new stuff and that's how Europe gets something different than the usual rap/r&b imports from the USA

Shame This Day dropped so much over the week, would have been cool to see another Boyzone-esque return to the top 10

X-Factor hasn't discovered anything "new". No act from that show has done anything original.

The U.K-based teen pop outfit the Saturdays formed in 2007 under the auspices of Polydor's Fascination Records. The five-piece girl group sports an accessible, melodic electro-pop sound tailored for pop radio, not to mention eye-catching good looks. In 2008 their debut single, "If This Is Love," hit number eight on the U.K. charts, only to be surpassed by "Up," which made it to number five, and "Issues" which reached number four. Their full-length studio album, CHASING LIGHTS, appeared in late 2008, followed soon after by a cover of the Depeche Mode synth-pop classic, "Just Can't Get Enough." With Spice Girls-inspired colour-coordinated outfits and distinct musical personalities, the Saturdays instantly captured the attention of the U.K. media, appearing on several television shows including the drama HOLLYOAKS LATER and the children's show ROSS LEE'S GHOULIES. - HMV

Higher  I really hope this goes top 3 at some point

I guess they won't be playing the Flo Rida version on Radio 1 much then

This is SO much better than Missing You, a good song actually

if that dull predecessor could go top 3, this deserves higher (excuse the pun)
