1. Matt - LOVE LOVE LOVE. Though I thought Bleeding Love was a bad song choice this week. I would like to see him try and sing a man's song - maybe Apologize by OneRepublic [/bias] I do think he has a similar voice to Ryan Tedder.

2. Treyc - I do like her though I think she is a very similar artist to Alexandra Burke. Great performance this week.

3. One Direction - Hmmm I really like them which hurts to admit it. The choruses sound a little bit too perfect though.

4. Paije - Oh I loved his performance this week, absolutely brilliant.

5. Mary - Very good performance, glad they gave her a more modern song.

6. Aiden - I like the sound of his voice, but I hate watching him. Makes me feel very uncomfortable. I do enjoy watching him from behind a cushion.

7. Rebecca - I don't get it. She's got a good voice (a bit like a sober Winehouse), but I don't think she's very special.

8. Cher - Really don't like her - though Stay was very good. Why does she snarl when she talks though? She barely opens her mouth.

Verdict this week:

An improvement over last for sure!

Matt's song choice was brilliant and he delivered it so well. Passing between notes with ease makes for a very nice and easy listen.

One Direction did a good performance of 'Kids of America' which was energetic and fun.

Cher had a nice balance with Alicia and Jay-Z parts showing off her voice and also how current She'd be as an Artist.

 

Paije gave his most memorable performance, which was entertaining. I've overlooked Him most weeks as it's just average usually.

 

Aiden did better than last week, shrug.

Rebecca, why that song? :drama: Did okay but I still find the judges praise too generous. I like her, nice girl, but I'd be lying to say I thought her voice is world-class standard.

 

TreyC was okay, can't form much of opinion on Her performances.

Katie's was plain and unoriginal. It's a good song but I got bored and it seemed like She wasn't given it full heart.

Mary had such a great song, yet couldn't deliver. The emotion wasn't there. Faith Hill has the better vocal so Mary should've made it her own somehow, a straight copy draws comparison and the original vocal is far superior.

Wagner is Wagner.
