Posted October 6, 201014 yr http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beginning_%28album%29: "The Beginning is the sixth studio album by American pop (yes, pop. There was a time when they made hip-hop ;) group The Black Eyed Peas. The album is set to release on November 30, 2010, in the United States. On June 6, 2010, Black Eyed Peas confirmed that they are working on a new album in an interview for The Big Issue, a sequel to The E.N.D. Will.i.am announced that the new album, which "symbolizes growth, new beginnings and starts, fresh new perspective," will be titled The Beginning and is due November 30th, 2010. The first single from the group's 6th studio album is possibly "Bang Bang Get It", it is rumoured to release in October. On the video shoot of Nicki Minaj's Check It Out. will.i.am announced that The Beginning includes four songs produced by LA DJ: DJ Ammo, three by will.i.am and two by French DJ: David Guetta. He also announced the album would have twelve tracks." For me the sequel of "The E.N.D." doesn`t sound good. And two Guetta`s song :( The best was "Elephunk"... "Bang Bang Get It" isn`t bad, but it`s not our old good Black Eyed Peas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pnjv2ywOLmU Edited October 6, 201014 yr by Mavoy
October 6, 201014 yr I actually agree about you about 'Bang Bang Get It'. I feel they were rushing this a bit.
October 6, 201014 yr I prefered the BEP in their earlier years, when they were more original, and not so generic and mainstream. This does give of the impression it's been rushed.
October 6, 201014 yr I dont think song is out yet and there is lots of fake songs out there claiming to be beps new single on youtube. Edited October 6, 201014 yr by Dino-2pacalypse
October 7, 201014 yr I think that song is called One More Day by ERAera. I actually really, really like it, but it's not the type of song that would be a worldwide #1, as it's not as catchy as the likes of Boom Boom Pow, so I can't imagine the BEPs doing something like that. Also, read this to see the forum's first impressions of Boom Boom Pow, what turned out to be the biggest song in the entire world last year (I think). http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...amp;mode=linear Edited October 7, 201014 yr by Eric_Blob
October 11, 201014 yr Surely 'I Gotta Feeling' and 'Poker Face' were bigger, WW? Yeah, I would've thought the same, but I remember reading some news articles about it last year. I'll try and find some if possible. Boom Boom Pow was year-end #1 in the US though, with Poker Face, Just Dance and I Gotta Feeling trailing behind it. I'm certain of that. I've done a quick search, and I can't find anything, except Down came 7th worldwilde, selling 6 million. I could understand Boom Boom Pow beating I Gotta Feeling, because I Gotta Feeling peaked in popularity quite late in some countries, like around October time, so it wouldn't have had time to sell so much, like it did in the UK. Poker Face was available for most of the year. I think it charted in some countries in 2008, but I don't think it would've lost much sales from that, so I would've expected that to beat Boom Boom Pow. The article could've been wrong. I found it on Google News about 9 months ago. The article was about this woman who the Black Eyed Peas had used as one of the sound effects in the song, and that she should be so proud that she contributed to the "biggest-selling song in the world this year". If the article was wrong, I'm pretty sure Boom Boom Pow would've been at least top 4 though. :D Edited October 11, 201014 yr by Eric_Blob
October 14, 201014 yr Poker Face wasn't as totally massive in the US as it was pretty much everywhere else wasn't it? It only got a week at #1 on the BBH100 and that was due to an iTunes fault more than anything else.
October 14, 201014 yr That song isn't BEP....it's Era Era - One More Day...........great song though :D Edited October 14, 201014 yr by Word Life
November 22, 201014 yr It's so much better than The END. Don't get me wrong, I liked or loved a fair few tracks from that but it had no cohesion - it was a collection of party tracks. This seems much more cohesive, slightly more old school, and apart from The Time it's not really that commercial. Someday and Whenever are both brilliant.
November 23, 201014 yr Really?! I think it's f***ing awful! :( The only tracks I'll probably ever listen to again are 'Someday, 'XOXOXO' and 'Just Can't Get Enough'. The rest are completely throwaway...
November 24, 201014 yr I think most of it is really bad, the only songs I 'like' are Love You Long Time, The Best One Yet (The Boy), Just Can't Get Enough and Play It Loud. Hopefully it will grow on me, but its not in the same league as The End.
December 1, 201014 yr Worst Black Eyes Peas Album i have ever heard, I have lost my loving for them, Dirty Bit is like a b side, so many songs would have been a better lead single from the e.n.d espicially party all the time :(
December 1, 201014 yr Could this be moved to the Peas's FORUM!? It is active in there, ya knowzz. So discuss this thurr! I've not actually listened to the album yet (flop mod) - but tbh, I don't expect great things. :(
December 7, 201014 yr I love the Black Eyed Peas older albums, I don't feel like their new album. Dance Lessons
