As far as I remember, I blamed the Saturdays quite as much during the 'Missing you' promo campaign. But I don't even think they looked as desperate as The Wanted.

 

If The Saturdays agreed to do a topeless photo if they got number i guess i would buy the sings around 15times :L

Diana is doing very well considering.

 

She's not really a singles artist tbh. She's an album act but this song isn't really leading/promoting anything except itself. If this fails to go top 10, it won't be much of a loss since the album won't be depending on it. Instead, it'll kick her label up the backsides to get her to release something more commercial and better.

 

Cant really call her an album act when she struggles to sell albums? :huh:

considering diana is nearly top 40 without any promotion (not heard it out of my personal enjoyment) is quite good. after the x factor performance I think she'll launch into the top 20.

I thought Jay would have been top ten by now, and quite suprised at Mine. Both great songs, too. :(

There's reports that Telephone will be performed on X Factor in a bit, so that might rise on iTunes, if this is true.

 

Firework will probably be top 20 in like 6 hours! :D

I hope this is good for Diana to make the top 10 this week, as it's just outside the top 40 now it won't have to climb up from nowhere. I think that'd be great considering the song has had practically no exposure.

Looking forward to x factor, wonder if it'll shake up the itunes chart a bit, katy perry, diana vickers, group performance, survival songs..

During the Sunday shows, 5 songs are performed. 2 from famous singers, 1 from the remaining finalists, who all do a song together (think Glee cast) and 2 songs from the people who end up bottom of the voting.

 

So we'll get My Wicked Heart, Firework, Telephone (if the rumours are true), and two other unknown songs depending on how the voting turns out (although they are typically ballads). I'm looking forward to the first 3 songs anyway. The survival songs are usually very boring and depressing, but I usually watch them anyway to see who leaves the show.

 

Seriously, so excited about Diana and Katy!!! :w00t: And if they do perform Telephone, I reckon Cher will sing Beyonce's bit. :lol:
