October 9, 201014 yr Author At least I know when to go for a toilet break, every 2 acts there is an ad break.
October 9, 201014 yr John was boring and forgettable. Another for the chop tomorrow. Now Rebecca; I really want to like her, but I just can't! She's boring and monotonous. :(
October 9, 201014 yr Rebecca - Didn't like the song, a bit too dream girls for my liking. However I still really like Rebecca and her voice so I'll give this a 7.5/10 btw I'm changing my scores slightly: FYD - 5.5/10 John - 5/10
October 9, 201014 yr I thought Cheryl's choice of song for Rebecca (although fairly easy to sing) was great (I love the song) and Rebecca did it justice ... I'd give that 8 or 9 out of 10. I know we're only four in ... but she's the best so far. Kath
October 9, 201014 yr I knew people would be applauding Rebecca. She DEFINETLY has one of the best voices in this competition, and I personally love her. But that performance was SOO not her. She's a Corinne Bailey-Rae girl in my eyes.
October 9, 201014 yr Rebecca; vocally outstanding (as always) but the girl really doesn't have ANY stage presence. Stiff as anything. They REALLY need to work on that because it could really be an issue in the later stages. John; MEH. He's got a pleasant voice, but he IS the most anonymous face there at the moment, and he needed something to stand out. One Sweet Day REALLY wasn't the song to do that; even as far as Mariah's back catalogue goes, it's not one of the standouts. It's incredibly generic. Simon was quite right to criticise the song choice.
October 9, 201014 yr It's been very dull and boring so far. I care not very much for John, Rebecca was very good I thought, probably best of the night so far though given the quality so far it's hardly a hard achievment.
October 9, 201014 yr 1. FYD 'Billionaire' 5/10 Was pretty OK, but nothing spectuacular. Plus, I would have hoped the judges would have kept to #1 from the major charts around the world, not scrape the bottom of the barrel! 2: Matt Cardle 'When Love Takes Over' 9.5/10 Amazing! Really liked his intpretation of the song after a dodgy start. I may well download this! 3: John Adelethingy 'One Sweet Day' 2/10 BORING. 4: Rebecca Ferguson 'Teardrops' 6/10 She did OK, but it was a bit dull as well. Kudos for trying to make it better by having a big note at the and.
October 9, 201014 yr Storm Lee = 8.0 Good surprise. Is Storm the Jedward of the year? ^_^ Also love that Starship song. Storm Lee 8.0 Matt 8.0 Rebecca 6.0 FYD 6.0 John 4.0
October 9, 201014 yr WTF was that? Louis could very well have two in the bottom tomorrow night. Edited October 9, 201014 yr by Kathyp
October 9, 201014 yr 5. Storm Lee- We Built This City On Rock and Roll Why does Loui feel the need to tell us where the f*** people are from. I'm from scotland, but I don't care that Storm Lee is from scotland. Just like last year I didnt care Olly was from Witham and thats where I work :P. Anyway song time. Whats with the face get up? Storm actualy has a good voice, I think he will get quite far. The verses were really good but the chorus felt a little bit flat if I am being honnest. It was an alright prefomance overall. 10/20 FYD 14/20 Rebecca 13/20 Storm 10/20 Matt 10/20 John 6/20
October 9, 201014 yr 05; Storm Lee 'We Built This City' It was alright. But I expected far more though. He reminds me of Justin Hawkins and I really can't take him too seriously... 5.5 out of 10
October 9, 201014 yr Storm Lee - Another case of 'LOL WHY CHOOSE THIS SONG' from Louis. Storm looks like a puppet, being controlled for how he looks etc. Decent performance, but he's just as good as a pub singer. In tune never the less. 7/10
October 9, 201014 yr Storm - This performance threatened the cheesiness levels of even Jedward.....but he does have a strong voice that did show a bit during this. However it felt a tad limp for a rock song but overall I think I liked it.....6/10
