October 27, 201015 yr Really bland week. Seems odd to remove Bruno Mars at the near height of its popularity too :o Surely more people in Radio 1's target audience want to still be hearing Just The Way You Are over Taylor Swift's flop Mine
October 27, 201015 yr Great to see MCR A-list- I hope they get a decent chart position too :D seeing they never really playlist XF acts- Im surprised to see JLS A-list
October 27, 201015 yr Great to see MCR A-list- I hope they get a decent chart position too :D seeing they never really playlist XF acts- Im surprised to see JLS A-list  R1 love JLS, they A-Listed their other 4 singles so why stop now? Then again, after The Club Is Alive was a relative flop there could be a small chance LYM wouldn't get A-Listed Anyway, surprised Written In The Stars is still on there when Bruno and SHMvs.TT are both gone... Great to see Far*East Movement added but why only on the D-List? It'll be moved up to C next week I'm sure but it seems strange to relegate such an obviously huge song to a D-List start... Asd for the other new additions, Laura's song is nice but will do nothing chartwise. Good that The Sky's The Limit is added, should be Jason's 5th single in a row to go A-List. I've heard the Gorillaz and Wolf Gang songs but don't remember much about them. Haven't yet heard BEP or The Script. Overall fairly predictable additions as all are pretty much R1 artists... except Wolf Gang of course but that's on the D-List so it's different
October 27, 201015 yr * Gorillaz - Doncamatic Fantastic Good for Sleigh Bells (though they should be at least b-listed) and FEM too
October 27, 201015 yr * Gorillaz - Doncamatic Fantastic Agreed. One of my favourite tracks by them.
October 27, 201015 yr Great to see Black Eyed Pes on the C-List, Take That, P!nk, Mike Posner on the A-List. Nelly on the B-List. Far* East Movement should be on the C-List, as this is huge in the US and can be here too if given right promotion by R1.
October 27, 201015 yr Blah boring additions. Good to see DeRulo added though, one of his best so far imo.
October 27, 201015 yr Great to see Gorillaz playlisted!! Far East Movement will probably go 1Up-C-B-A in 4 weeks depending on feedback from the audience. I assume the download will be released early (unless they want to lose out on huge amounts of sales and only care about a high debut).
October 29, 201015 yr Aaah, thank god Jason got playlisted  his best song to date. Easily  Surprised, like most otherrs it seems, Bruno is gone yet Taylor is still there. No surprise at JLS going A-List, the best Children In Need single in a long time imo. Probably since S Club 'Have You Ever' or 'Never Had A Dream Come True' lol. Also surprrised at Far East Movement "only" get added to 1-Upfront straight away. Thought it'd be a straight to C-List sort of song  meh. At least it's added. OOI, I know it's been answered before, but I can't remember... What are the plays for each playlisting? How many spins would a song on A-List get etc... ? EDIT: Also a big woo for The Script and their fantastic new single
October 29, 201015 yr Blah boring additions. Good to see DeRulo added though, one of his best so far imo. Boring? The Black Eyed Peas' long awaited return single & the US billboard chart topper Like A G6 are two amazing songs, both will chart no. 1 here in the UK! :D
October 29, 201015 yr R1 love JLS, they A-Listed their other 4 singles so why stop now? Then again, after The Club Is Alive was a relative flop there could be a small chance LYM wouldn't get A-Listed The Club Is Alive may not have spent long in the chart, but it still reached Number 1 and has sold 200k+.. Plus Love You More is the Children In Need single, so I doubt they would have ignored it/not A-Listed the song
October 29, 201015 yr The Club Is Alive may not have spent long in the chart, but it still reached Number 1 and has sold 200k+.. Plus Love You More is the Children In Need single, so I doubt they would have ignored it/not A-Listed the song I said *relative* flop ie. compared to BA and EIL
October 29, 201015 yr I said *relative* flop ie. compared to BA and EIL Oops sorry. Didn't read the relative bit
October 29, 201015 yr OOI, I know it's been answered before, but I can't remember... What are the plays for each playlisting? How many spins would a song on A-List get etc... ? It used to say on the site iirc. Anyway, I'm pretty sure A-List is 20 spins a day; B-List 10 a day and C-List 5 a day. Not sure about 1-Upfront though.
