01. Cher Lloyd Cher Lloyd remains a HORRID HORRID human being. I was DETERMINED to hate her, and she had to go and prove me wrong. 'Stay' was actually outstanding, and for the first time in the contest I can now no longer claim that she is a rubbish singer. That was VERY good, and although she may not have been in tune all throughout, she made up for it with feeling and passion. Her rare show of vulnerability there suited the song PERFECTLY.

02. Rebecca I'm biased here because Wicked Game is one of my most FAVOURITE songs of all time. I loved the new arrangement and I loved Rebecca's voice as always. I just wish she'd develop some DYNAMISM about her though, because although she should coast through the next few weeks fairly easily, her lack of personality will become a HUGE disadvantage in the final stages.

03. Mary Marvellous, and as with Cher, she went some way to silencing the doubters. Could It Be Magic may not be as contemporary as some would like, but it was a definite change in direction for her, and she managed it WONDERFULLY.

-------------------------------

04. Wagner I LOVED the first section. Wagner IS the weakest vocalist in the contest, but he proved in those opening moments that he wasn't as totally bereft of talent as Jedward and Chico before him.

05. Matt His weakest performance so far, but NOT bad. He did struggle with a few notes there, but for the most part it was enjoyable

06. Aiden He did a good job. I think I'm ranking him lower than he deserves because I really was disappointed he didn't go for the whole shebang and go for the dance version. He'd have won himself a whole new fanbase if he had. Although "ballad Thriller" was unique, in some ways it actually felt like a very SAFE choice, because it was nothing we hadn't seen Aiden do before.

07. One Direction As with Cher, I'm loathe to admit it, but I enjoyed it. The rubbish gai in me LOVED that arrangement. If only they'd STOP entrusting solo sections to warbling Ethnic One.

08. Paije Decent, but of all of them, he was the one I forgot first.

09. TreyC Oh dear. Her vocals were spot on, but at the same time she was also TOTALLY unremarkable. Part of that was due to the rather bland song choice, but part of it seems to be a problem with TreyC herself. I can't pinpoint it exactly, but no matter how good her voice was, she DOES lack that certain X Factor / wow factor. Beverley Knight for the '10s.

10. Katie She's been improving vastly with every week, but I really wasn't feeling this one. I thought it was rather flat compared to the last two weeks.

------------------------

11. Belle Amie Simply AWFUL. The only act that I can honestly say were BAD this week, Dannii was spot on; the vocals were completely DREADFUL and without redemption. They hit more bum notes than even bloody Wagner.

PREDICTION: TreyC vs Belle Amie. Judges put to deadlock, Belle Amie to go.

I think Belle Amie, Wagner, Katie and possibly Paije will be in the bottom tonight-Belle Amie going home.I really hope this story gets lots of attention. Why are they resorting to backing singers, backing tracks and pre-recorded vocals this year.If they are going to have acts miming at least teach them to not keep holding the mic away from their mouths and still keep singing cough cougn One Direction, Cher.

Stupidly belated ratings:

01 / Cher / I HATE THIS VILE LITTLE SKANK SO MUCH. Yet there is no denying that performance wsa quite wonderful and blew anything else away on a rather average night.

02 / Rebecca / She is so sensational, I just wish she could show a bit of personality because I KNOW ITS IN THERE SOMEWHERE.

03 / One Direction / Not even ashamed to say I thought everything about this was rather great. Guilty pleasure righthurrr.

04 / Mary / I was happy to see her do something different, even though I'm not really sure how 'Could It Be Magic' is contemporary, and it did work rather well.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

05 / Matt / It was good, but probably his weakest to date and you could see him struggling on alot of the notes, bad song choice I think.

06 / Paije / Poor little Paije, a talented little soul but somewhat forgettable :(

07 / Wagner / LOL I LOVE HIM. 'O Fortuna' I actually thought he sang pretty well!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

08 / Aiden / It was... good. It was a bit flat and shaky in places but this slow thing is what Aiden does, so it worked well, even though I'm not sure if I liked him doing that to one of the greatest songs ever to grace the Earth.

09 / Treyc / I don't really get how this is a halloween song, moreso than the others, but whatevz. This was OK but she seems to have rapidly slid downhill in the last two weeks. Bottom two beckons again unfortunatley.

10 / Katie / I actually rather enjoyed her Jungle Book impression overall last week, but this just screamed DULL.

11 / Belle Amie / These poor girls. So much potential in the beginning and now being given the standard exit clause of 'Venus'. Good staging, not so good performance :( They is so outta here.

Rebecca again outstanding performance - but please Rebecca SMILEEEEEEEE

Cher - I think the best since her Audition - Brilliant.

TreyC Just how could Cheryl give her this song - Relight My Fire along with I Will Survive are the most boring hyped songs and both are rubbish. To be honest I prefered the Rock Chick last week.

Wagner - Revolting as usual

Paije - utterly forgettable from a very average singer.

Matt - I haven't like since week 2

Wand Erection - can't stand the little morons.

Belle Amie - What a rubbish song choice especially being given the Stock Aitken Waterman version. Maybe if they'd have done the original Shocking Blue version they'd have pulled it off. The only performance I liked from them is when they did The Kinks - You Really Got Me

Mary - great singer - She's done the 50s with Shirley Bassey - the 60s with Dusty and now the 70s with Barry Manilow - Maybe by the later stages she'll be doing the noughties.

Mind you Barry Manilow is very average and his songs bland. - The only version of Could It Be Magic I like is that done by Donna Summer.

Katie - another quirky performance - I kinda liked it.

Aiden - boring and flat as a pancake. He seemed to drone on & on for about half an hour.

All in all my bottom 2 this week would be Wagner and Wand Erection

I know Wand Erection wouldn't go because of all the little 8 year old girls voting

My Ranking this week

1. Rebecca

2. Cher

3. Mary

4. Matt

5. Katie

6. TreyC

7. Aiden

8. Belle Amie

9. One Direction

10. Paije

11. Wagner

Just how could Cheryl give TreyC this song - Relight My Fire along with I Will Survive are the most hyped songs and both are rubbish.

As Simon hilariously pointed out to Cheryl last night she does not give Treyc the time or attention she gives the other girls and they have no real connection. If Treyc survives (please vote for her) she will get another rubbish, been done before song next week.

Glad Cher finally proved the haters wrong! :cheer:

Agree with Simon, easily the best performance of the series.

09.00|Rebecca - Loved it. She's quickly becoming my favourite act this year and remains the only one I can imagine actually buying a song by.

08.50|Cher - Surprisingly good, helped by the fact that she had a great song but she did manage to do it justice.

07.00|Katie - Not as good as last week and may suffer from it being a similar style of performance. Her vocals do appear to be getting a bit stronger but still struggled in the verses I felt.

06.50|Matt - It was better than I expected but still a bit middling. Was like a reverse Run I felt, i.e. what a Leona track would sound like if it were covered by Snow Patrol.

06.00|Aiden - I didn't hate this at all like most of you appear to have done. It appealed to my taste in music by being rather leftfield. Not sure the public will get it though, may be in danger.

06.00|Mary - It was okay. I'm just bored of her now.

05.00|Paije - He sang it well enough but it made no lasting impression on me at all.

05.00|One Direction - More of the same from them also, could have been literally any of their past 3 performances. Clearly they will be safe though.

03.50|TreyC - Hideous song choice. Dannii is totally correct that she just doesn't have any impact, perfectly capable as a singer but just doesn't connect at all. She also comes across as being quite arrogant I feel, not specifically to do with her answering back as she did have a point there, more from her backstage comments each week.

02.00|Wagner - I'm just not finding it funny any longer at all and I thought this was one of the weaker performances, even by his usual low standards.

01.50|Belle Amie - Horrendous choice of song, if you're going to go with one that doesn't fit the theme then at least choose something that doesn't usually end up with the act being kicked out.

I just downloaded |Cher's performace. It's not even the live one form last night - what a con. its a recording. Rubbish!!!
I can see Louis giving Mary Get the Party Started in an attempt to be modern.

1. Cher - 10/10   I agree with Simon, best performace of the series!!!!!!!!

2. Rebecca - 10/10   Again, I agree with Simon, utter world class!

3. Katie - 9/10 - A huge step away from Cher and Rebecca, but still great!

4. Matt - 9/10 - Not as good as BOMT or JTWYA, but better than WLTO

5. Treyc - 9/10 - Again showing her versatility, love her!

6. Belle Amie - 8.5/10 - Fun, and a good all round performance, but I agree with Dannii's vocal comment tbh

7. Paije - 8/10 - Easily his best performance!

8. Mary - 7.5/10 - I know we were all waiting for her to sing uptempo, but I feel let down now, she was nowhere near as good as she usually is :(

9. One Direction - 6/10 - They actually were OK, but they turned a classic ballad into a generic bore fest :(

10. Aiden - 5/10 - It's usually positive when someone makes a song their own (Matt's BOMT, Cher's VLV, Paije's AN etc.) but he changed it too much, and is serious danger of bottom 2. He may have blown his chance.

11. Wagner - 1/10 - I won't say much, my score reflects it all!

this week's youtube stats so far:

Cher Lloyd- 61,542

Matt Cardle- 48,633

Rebecca Ferguson- 45,268

Aiden Grimshaw- 42,478

One Direction- 40,897

Mary Byrne- 33,093

Katie Waissel- 27,762

TreyC Cohen- 24,458

Belle Amie- 24,347

Paije Richardson- 24,253

Wagner- 22,662

Wagner's had the lowest views for weeks though and has so far escaped the bottom 2- so I wouldn't say he's a certainty for the boot this week, I'd say the bottom 2/3 will be anyone from that last 5

quite surprised to see Belle Amie not bottom though and surprised Matt's ahead of Rebecca- Aiden beating One Direction is quite surprising too

Looking back at it, me declaring Matt's performance better than Cher's might have been a LITTLE biased. I have since come to the conclusion that Stay was a better performance. I still stand by my ordering aside from that, and maintain this week was the poorest week overall.

I also still think Matt is the best overall, and his ...BOMT is by far my fav performance of the live show so far, whereas Cher has been fairly disappointing until this week. Only compared to her incredible performances before the live shows. She's still my 2nd favourite overall. Third favourite overall is probably Wagner  Then Mary 4th, Paije 5th and Rebecca 6th. One Direction and Treyc joint 7th. Katie and Belle Amie joint 9th. Aiden 11th by a mile. :puke:

Aiden's performance last night was my favourite, don't agree with the hate. He's the only one who I'd actually be really interested in musically after the show. He's the one I enjoy watching and listening to the most.

And my wish for him to sing Thriller came true!!!

My ranking this week:

1. Aiden Grimshaw

2. Katie Waissel - She makes me smile :)

3. Rebecca Ferguson

4. Cher Lloyd - A nice change!

5. Mary Byrne

6. One Direction

7. Treyc Cohen

8. Paije Richardson

9. Matt Cardle - Disappointing this week :( I want another When Love Takes Over moment!

10. Wagner

11. Belle Amie

I predict Treyc and Belle Amie to be in the bottom 2.

Cher was fantastic last night (well, this morning). She should do stuff like that more often.

ohh sounds excatly the same too be haha her performance was amazing lastnight hope she does more like that :)

Cher was fantastic last night. I am a 'hater' but she was so good last night.

Matt just looked out of depth. He couldn't hit the high notes and was a bit off key. One Direction I thought worked really well, although vocally they are very weak. Liam carries them, and the only other one that has a strong voice in the asian one. But why oh why they insist on giving him those stupid notes i'll never know.
