Never mind jls next week, the way things are going BEPs could have it! Rapid climb through even the higher postions in the last few hours alone! :o

It'd be nice for shane to hold on for the week, KP stilling selling well, rihanna defying expectations, and a small chance of a big TT boost next week. Don't you love this time of year?!

I have a feeling that they won't get to Number 1 next week and will be held off by Like A G6 or The Flood after Take Thats X Factor Performance

I still can't believe they released The Club Is Alive  . Their abum has so many more potential singles. They could have even gone with Kickstart, Crazy For You etc from the debut album..

But their next single Superhero sounds like their best single so far from the clip. Popjustice described it as "A midtempo banger and pretty much completely amazing"

woah! 'Like A G6' is released on Sunday? Ok, re-thinking about a possible upset?? But they could always do a DeRulo and peak at 1 on iTunes for a while, but never actually get the UK number 1 etc... Hmm..

Also, just asking, but do people think 'Love The Way You Lie (part II)' from Rihanna's new album could be cherry picked enough, for a Top 40 positioning? just speculating.

Hmm... I think What's My Name will have more of a chance. It's #1 Stateside.

I hope so  Is the Drake version on her album ?

Way higher than *just* T40, I'd say!

No, I was talking about the iTunes charts, which are live, so you aren't necessarily number-one for an integer number of weeks.

Tinie Tempah was #1 in the official charts for only 2 weeks, but he was #1 on the iTunes chart for 3 and a half weeks (roughly). The reason he didn't get #1 officially for 3 weeks was because Telephone was at #3 and #11 during Pass Out's 3rd week at iTunes #1, so sold more overall that week. I remember nearly everybody on here (even me! :o) was desperate for Gaga to beat Tinie, as it was really close that week, with Tinie being #1 in the Friday mids, but only just.

Actually, don't quote me on this, but I think the Pass Out/Telephone chart battle produced the longest Sunday Chart Show thread in Buzzjack history! At the time, I think a lot of people thought it was Telephone's only chance at getting #1. :o

which is ridiculous as looking back in hindsight pass out is a far better track!! :D

Yes it is. :D Have you heard the non Drake version?

No I actually haven't. I'm guessing it sounds the same through, but without his part ?

So...JLS to take the number 1 spot next week? Or can Rihanna defy the odds again and hold on for a third week. Her lead is still pretty big after all?

it is a big lead compared to the other songs on itunes but its smaller than last week so will probably be lucky to sell 100k this week - and less again next!

But who will get the last laugh worlwide? Rihanna maybe??

obvously, rihanna is a us based artist who is promoted world wide.if a song gets top 20 in america globalisation means we follow them like zombies and so it get airplay here.brit artists like take that very rarely get promo in us unless their songs get played on big tv shows(snow patrol)

hard luck for them tho as their music charts are pretty poor with little variety!! -_-

Way higher than *just* T40, I'd say!

not sure if i like when this kind of thing happens in the charts or not,it distorts the chart because the second rihanna single wont be released until jan at the earliest and yet the single will be top 40 in nov wout promo.it worked a treat in june with love the way you lie tho!!

Take That now down to #7 on my feed :o One of the most baffling flops of the year! (Okay so it's not a flop, it's a flop considering the hype is what I mean)

Ronson - Somebody To Love Me at #86

OW at Take That- I wonder if it will miss the top 2 on sunday- they'll need big physicals :o

it seems that any BEPs song can sell, even if its rubbish- I really hope this isnt number 1, but it is actually possible now :( :o

 @ Take That

Still a chance it could go to number 1 next week after X Factor and their documentary.. but still, baffling. It's not like they've been short on airplay.
