People getting too excited about like a g6, its not going to be #1 this week, or probably ever. Might be a big hit, but dont see it #1.

JLS -#1

X Factor Finalists - #1

Actually the weeks after these arent as competitive as i thought and cant call obvious #1s..

JLS/Take That/Rhianna/Black Eyed Peas/ - slight outsiders - Westlife/Ellie Goulding/Katy Perry could all be #1 this week. JLS certainly haven't got it wrapped up

I've just heard Ellie Goulding's "Your Song"! Bloody amazing! Hope it manage to hit top 5! And it would be great to be Christmas n.1!

Sats update anyone?

Why on Earth do you want a Sats update?

17. Higher - The Saturdays & Flo Rida

126. Higher - The Saturdays

131. Missing You - The Saturdays

That's it in the top 300.

I'll be SHOCKED if this happens with 3 superstrong boyband releases on XF tonight

Well, Westlife will fade away just like Shayne and Joe did, JLS will be huge but frontloaded - so I can see quite a good probability of FEM overtaking them. As for Take That - they will slip down as the XF factor burns out. Just look at how dramatically they were falling last Wednesday / Thursday!

The thing is JLS and Take That both have Children In Need as well -(not sure if Westlife are) so maybe nearer the end of the week, when they would start to slip, they'll get bolstered back up again

I wouldn't be so sure that JLS will be frontloaded. 'The Club Is Alive' plummeted like a brick but that's because the song was absolutely awful. This song is much, much better (probably the best one they've recorded) and appeals to more than just their fanbase, imo.

To be honest I think Love You More pales in comparison to The Wanted's Heart Vacancy. So I'm not sure it'll have any longevity... :/

There was no promo last week for TT, only airplay + the documantary on saturday. (that made them go up again)

Jls sales WILL be frontloaded but that never stopped them before, did it? Jls will actually benefit from TT being at the show tonight and boosting ratings.

'Like a G6' needs to make Top 10 before the BigTop40 does the Top 10 rundown, so it can get that crucial airing on commercial radio, so everyone knows the official version is out.

At the rate it's a going, it's good thing they released it yesterday

That's what i was going to say. Both Wstlife and Jls will benefit from TT being on the same show as ratings will be absolutely unprecedented because of Take That.

Just because take that are on the show wont send ratings rocketing they are already massive with 50% audience share.

And we thought the song would have "absolutely unprecedented" sales too

Well, sales will be high anyway..It's like Rule The World part 2 all over again. And yes, i think it's still unprecedented considering there was NO promo at all for the single. TT Itunes Takeover advert everyone's talking about was for the ALBUM not for the single. If only they were on X factor last week, it would DEFINITELY go straight to number one. Oh well, the album will be MASSIVE instead.

argh Come on Hurts and Florence!!! These two songs are amazing and deserve to be in Top.40 at least!

I actually thought JLS would be number 1 by now- Im sure it will after tonight, but it probably wont have much longevity

Glad Ellie's in the top 10- I never thought we'd see another top 10 hit by her :o so thank you John Lewis :D

Westlife quite a slow start, I think they'll be like Shayne and Joe and drop very quickly during the week- unless they have Children In Need in the week

No, it's not. RTW had consistency, The Flood hasn't (it fell to #9 on Thursday!). RTW was "the #1 that never was" while TF is going to be "the frontloaded #2 with quite a dire chart-run". I can easily say that Take That will benefit because a lot of JLS fans will be watching the XF too - but I won't, as we can't know and even estimate anything in this sphere.

Westlife are #24, Florence at #72, Hurts (single ver) at #154, Kanye #170, Inna (single ver) #211.

I doubt they'll go anywhere. People wouldn't know what good music was if they got hit with a piano and tied up in harp strings. All I can say is some people are just plain thick.

Wonderful life was better and didn't do much...

:cheer: Florence from me too.

EDIT:

I actually believe The Flood won't sell much less than RTW... It should sell ~400K (will be well over 150K total after this week)

It won't have the phenomenal longevity of RTW though that's for sure. But don't even suggest a dire chart run :nono:

You're forgetting that most people simply haven't heard the songs. How can we expect people to buy it if they don't know it exists.

Also, Ellie Goulding was bound to get a top 10 hit with the phenomenal Wonderman next month/early 2011 anyway.
