Sooooooooooo pleased to see Alistair Griffin in the Top 40! Never thought he would ever come close to having a hit again! Really hope this will kick start his career once more :wub: :wub:

Alistair Griffin clearly LOSES out to Lisa Roxanne for most random chart revival of the year I'm afraid. An admirable effort though. Personally I would have preferred Sinéad Quinn.
westlife great guys, so beautiful together, great voices, poor music (single selections)

take that: excpet gary barlow, who is a real star, the rest are really poor in everything. . . nice music though!

Westlife:

great voices--> you probably mean 1 or 2 of them

great guys--> ok

poor music--> ok

creativity--> never heard of!!!

Take That:

Gary Barlow is a star---> never was even back then when they were 20 yo. It is a film we have already seen now, Robbie is the star and the charisa of the band, although Gary is a better 'chief' and musician and a talented artist.

the rest are poor in everything--> including Robbie who has done everything? Anyway you will be surprized by this album seeing how much (more than Gary) others contribute. It is a different direction for TT nevertheless. It is actually a worthy effort from everyone. (some more than others)

I hope Alesha Dixon does well with Radio

when does it come out? all profits go to children in need.. 1000 times better than drummer boy.

Mila mou ellinika. . . Anw westlife's album also looks great!!! good luck for both of the bands. . . As for jls. . . they are really crap. . . westlife are by far better than them and deserve higher than them in both charts. . .

I am bored with westlife releasing the same thing over and over again. I used to like a part of them but they have lost their touch. sigura tha ine panta kaliteroi apo tus jls simfono. (an kai mono esi tha katalaveis ti leo!) :naughty:

When phyisicals are added i think westlife will end up between #6 and #8, but like this week i think the top 10 will all have good sales.
So, Far East Movement look set to have quite a big flop on their hands :o or will it be a slow burner? I'm really surprised it ain't Top 10 yet!

I'm not - but that's because I've *heard* it... :)

Like a G6 will be absolutely massive, and I reckon it'll sell 500,000 eventually.

When the nation starts hearing it more, they'll be buying the song in their thousands. There's NO way it'll stall at #11. :lol:

It'll peak around NYE, probably have a run like Tik Tok did.

I'd agree with this. The charts are always dominated by charity singles/X Factor tie in's/boyband ballads/strange covers and general nonsense in November and December and other songs that would be easy #1's in the summer spend a few weeks faltering before properly taking off in the new year once the silly season is over and people stop buying the aformentioned things.

No way in hell will it not make the top ten, but even so, I can't understand how all of the hype surrounding it has not propelled it to the top ten yet at the very least. It's another big week so it will probably need 35k to make it in, but even so, I had it projected for a potential 90k on its first week, everyone I know is singing/loving it :lol:

I really hope Mike Posner climbs above Bruno, so he doesn't get knocked out the top 10.

Also, What's My Name is #241, #294 and #725!!!!

Love the Way You Lie (Piano version) at #374 (NOTE: This is NOT LTWYL Part II).

S&M #521.

Just as expected tbh.

Safe :down: #13, wasnt it #12 earlier? :o I think it'll peak #11/#12.

They're on Lorraine in a few minutes.

How ellie golding is up to #4 already i dont understand..that is one powerful advert!

Alistair Griffin :up: 26 now :o What the hell? Is this another campaign?

We need Fame Academy back tbh, at least that was REAL...

Westlife's physical sales should push them to the low top 10, I'm thinking. I wonder if the fake version has damanged FEM's chances as it's stalling quite a bit.

And I hate to say this but 'Safe' is probably the best Westlife song I've heard since 'World Of Our Own'. :blush: Everything else before and in between remains $h!te.

Like, but i don´t think safe was nearly one of their best singles. . . Westlife released much better ones. . .

Looks like it could be tight between JLS and Take That - while JLS are #1 on Itunes and will have cd sales. Take That are #2 on Itunes but the album versions of The Flood are climbing up rapidly - one is at #87 and another is #106

It was used on the BBC's coverage of the F1 Grand Prix.

I was watching it (randomly, don't even like F1!) and thought the song was really good - didn't expect it to be him though!! :o
