I won't get into properly ranking Rihanna singles for fear of it getting chucked into a 'Rihanna singles rank' topic in her AF, but it's probably my 2nd favourite too, although behind Disturbia.

Oh definitely, I looked at the star power on that and thought 'this could be a truly amazing song' but it really wasn't :( Second Chance was so weak, like a diluted version of Take Me Back. My favourite song on the album is the Alexis Jordan collaboration, which could make a decent single for both of him seeing as her star is rising and hers is fading. The Amelle track didn't grab me which is a shame as I adored Never Leave You.

I think Never Leave You and Take Me Back were the most similar. They both have like a high-pitched ostinato on loop throughout the track, and then another ostinato on loop, more in the bass.

Never Leave You is completely and utterly phenomenal though. I'm still overwhelmed that such a good song actually exists!

Nice to see that Nowhere left to Run and That's the Truth are the most popular tracks (other than singles) on McFly's new album on Itunes atm.

What's My Name LOVE it, a real grower so addictive.

You're being sarcastic right?

I've been addicted to 'What's My Name' all week and have bought it from iTunes (then the album after) and Ellie's cover of Your Song is nothing short of magical. #3 now! Wonder if it will outpeak Starry Eyed?

lol, no! Seriously, one of the best songs I've ever heard. I've been listening to it everyday for like a year now. :)

I wouldn't be quite that complimentary about Never Leave You but it was comfortably one of my top 40 songs of 2010, and Number 1/Take Me Back weren't far off either. His material hasn't been quite up to scratch this year but there are still some decent songs on the album.

Glad to see The Flood doing so well now! Hope it can get to #1 combined eventually, even if it never does top the officials.

G6 up to #7 now :D

Tinchy et al still at #20, Rihanna/Drake up to #26.

Annie Lennox - Universal Child at #60. Seems to be a new song, but it was apparently released a month ago

LTWYL (Piano) #62 and S&M #63.

Kanye & Pusha up to #76 but it doesn't look like it'll even match Power's peak :(

New deadmau5 song 'Right This Second' at #84 - seems he's doing one new song a week until the album with Sofi Needs A Ladder 2 weeks ago and Some Chords last week

Jamie Woon at #98 :D Love 'Night Air', hope it keeps climbing

I like what deadmau5 is doing. I wish more artists would do this in the UK. I'm so jealous of the US, how they get to have loads of Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ke$ha album tracks high up in their charts. Plus, if someone with a big fanbase, like Tinie or the Sats did it, each one would probably go top 10.

We did get Eminem and BEP doing single-a-week countdowns for Relapse and The E.N.D respectively and all the songs flopped.

'Beautiful' made #38 (and later peaked at #12 when released as a single) while the other few Eminem countdown singles just made low top 75, and the only BEP countdown single to even go top 100 was 'Alive', though the other 2 (Meet Me Halfway and Imma Be) later peaked at #1 and #55 respectively when released as singles.

Take That:

The Flood: #2 #43 #45

Rule the world: #82

Greatest Day: #117

SOS: #148

Shine: #170

Never Forget: #184

8 Letters: #186

Kidz: #196

Also, Shame:#37 #161

And by the way: #174 All I want for xmas is you

#127 Fairytale of New York

 You say some funny things, mate.

I think TT have a chance to possibly pip JLS to the top spot but i think JLS have it in the bag. I really do hope TT can net the No.1 spot it would make my year them doing the double and beating JLS & Westlife there in the process...i can dream lol

I wasn't joking. Yes, I'm not the biggest fan of Taylor Swift, but I do think it would make the charts more interesting.

Jls at the top just makes me wanna :puke2:

:P I wasn't laughing at that. Just your comment about being jealous of the US charts amused me.

Personally, I would hate that to happen here anyway. Especially if they started taking places in the top ten. I'm all for sharing!

I don't like I'll Be Your Man much actually. Find it...unexciting? Same live really. Especially as everyone started to sit down! I like Too Close for Comfort though, especially accoustic. & the I'll Be Your Man accoustic is nice.

I'm not sure of the actual numbers, I just noticed that when looking at the album info NLTR and TTT had 4 popbars each compared to 2 for the other tracks. Probably very low in the actual chart.

Shine a Light has climbed again? :o

I need to listen to clips of some of these other new tracks charting. I don't think I've heard Ellie's track especially.

has tinchy stryder - game over jus dropped 5 places and has rihanna - whats my name dropped 6 in the last hour

or has itunes messed up agen cos rihanna was climbing last time i looked.

also G6 back down to 8, kanye back down to 87 :(, surely summins gone rong.
