Due to the songs not being available to download, I believe this'll be the first time The Beatles have touched the chart since April 1996 when 'Real Love' left the chart

 

That also means this'll be the first time in my lifetime The Beatles have had a hit single :lol:

 

Unless of course one of their songs was re-released / re-charted between 'Real Love' and now that doesn't have its own separate entry on chartstats.com?

It would be nice to see the Beatles chart top 40- although now they will be constant staples on the itunes top 1000 as they are classics :D

 

wow at Ellie Goulding- this will probably be her highest charting single yet :o which is a shame as she has had better original material- but still great to see her back in the upper reaches :wub:

glad the beatles arent getting too high - the chart history would look ridiculous if they all flooded back in..its one thing mjacksons songs charting in july 2009 because he died and thats why when you look back you will instantly know why but this is just by default!!
