Simon Park Orchestra - Eye Level (Van Der Valk tv series) it sold a million in the UK.

TeleTubbies - Teletubbies Say Eh-Oh! also sold over a million.

The original Home And Away theme by Mark Williams and Karen Boddington (I think) was in the Uk chart in abt 1989/90 but quite low down.
Whilst I think of it the theme to another aussie soap 'Sons and Daughters' was released in the Uk (I own it!) but don't know if it charted tho. Also did they ever release the Neighbours theme (note to viewers of Neighbours under 15 ... yes it did have a proper theme once upon a time!).

The Neighbours theme is really famous anyway. My 12 year-old sister can play the Neighbours theme on the piano! :D

I was gonna mention the Friends theme tune, but I see it was already mentioned. Should've been #1 imo. And Smelly Cat should get released...

An excellent piece of music and very haunting (Chi Mai, not Making Your Mind Up!).
