Oh. Thank God Tinie's releasing 'Invincible' over 'Wonderman'

Wonderman is miles better!

Pleased for Jessie! They need to keep supporting her so it can rise on iTunes. :)

Wonderman is better than Invincible, definitely, although Invincible is very good too.

However, Invincible has only overtaken Wonderman on iTunes in the past couple of days, which I think shows how much more popular Wonderman was, although Wonderman did have more airplay originally, I suppose.

The only good thing I can see about releasing Invincible is that it's more commercial. It's like the Love the Way You Lie of Tinie's album. Or perhaps Kelly Rowland's managers paid them to release Invincible, so she'd regain popularity in the UK.

Personally, I think the fact "Invincible" is a bit of of a ballad is why it's being released next. It sounds more like a Christmas single than "Wonderman". At least I hope that's the reason, I can't see any other reason not to release it. Hopefully it'll follow this, keeping Ellie's name out there once "Your Song" has died down. ^_^
Great to see Not in love B-listed

Very weird that Eliza is re-releasing Skinny Genes, I really don't see the point in that as it was a moderate hit. She should release Moneybox or Mr Medicine.

And I seriously can't believe that Olly is still C-listed! Extremely weird. Ignoring Kylie and Joe aswell.

Oh really? Rumer & Lady Antebellum anyone?

(What you said would be valid 90% of the time, but certainly not zero)

TONE DAMLI

A-list on R2 for 3 weeks, record of the week at the end of October and it's greatest achievement to date is low 40's in the Airplay chart and top300 on iTunes.

Aly is right, Radio2 have no impact on the charts, bar a few anomaly's.

It's well known that has zero impact chartwise.

For starters radio 1 don't playlist based on the song. If they're unhappy with the chart performance of a single they remove it on release week and then refuse to playlist the future singles from that artist, but they kept 'Get Outta My Way' on the playlist for a couple of weeks after release, which makes this even more strange.

as i said before i think kylie is making the move to radio 2 now - maybe the last single was the last single on the radio 1 playlist ever!!! :o

I really don't see it... but then again, this is Radio 1 and you never can tell with them. I guess we'll have to wait for the next era now and see what happens then.

tinie has chosen a slower song to end the year and also he may become noticed in the us collaborating with kelly rowland, same for kelly here!!he'll burst back in 2011 with wonderman when its released around the time of the brits!!
Its annoying how radio 1 adds songs like plan b, pyro and other album tracks to the alsit a week before they are released - they are clearly not going to get high up the charts with this strategy - they should be played 3 weeks before the songs cd release to give it a chance to rise up the itunes chart and get a good chart position.eg whats the point in moving eminem/lil wayne into the alist on it week of release and remove it a week later when it clearly has stalled in the chart!!
