Nicole is smashing! As much as I want Ellie to finally get her No 1, I'd love Nicole to debut at No 1! Can't decide which I'd prefer.

Sadly for Alesha, her career has gone slightly down the pan ever since she became a judge on Strictly Come Dancing. I don't think she will ever have another massive UK hit like 'The Boy Does Nothing' and 'Breathe Slow'. I mean 'Take Control' seemed a potential hit but bombed into the top 30 instead.

 

Also if I had to choose between Ellie and Nicole for no. 1 next Sunday, I'd definitely choose 'Poison' over 'Your Song'. I'm also surprised at how well Afrojack is doing. Having heard the song, it's a bit of a non event. :unsure:

they are obviously gonna push tonight that it is number 1 on the results show, they were pushing the cd single like mad on last nights show to. also it has a video now so will be played on all the video count down top 40 as number 1.

 

i think cd sales will keep it on top next week with no real top new songs out. ellie will be number 2.

 

also am i the only one who thinks poison by nicole sounds like a saturdays b-side, and that is not a compliment. i get this forum is full of gay guys and it is the type of music they stan over, but i really don't think it is any good.

The same happened with Rihanna and that dire Peter Kay song last year when she was #01 on iTunes all week. :( Shame.
