How can you have two such contrasting opinions of two songs that sound basically the same? It's like saying "Frisky is amazing, and Pass Out is dreadful", or "Bad Romance is a masterpiece, but Poker Face is the worst thing I've heard all year". :lol: I find both moderately boring tbh (Ellie's slightly less boring, but I think that's because it's newer. I've been hearing Elton John's version constantly since the day I was born, so I'm fed up of it now).

And yeah, Nicole has really exceeded my expectations to be honest. It's so weird. A month ago, I would NEVER have expected Ellie Goulding, Nicole Scherzinger and Coldplay to be the top 3 on iTunes! :o Just goes to show really!

christ i forgot all about willow smith's single, that could well be no1 next week.coldplay have little or no promo except radio play and xmas becoming ever closer and ellie and nicole will fall in sales

 

ellies pop up bars aren miles ahead of the rest now, but i cant imagine sales being great this week

I think it's a great possibility given that the chart tends to dry up after christmas week, I'm also pleasantly surprised by how well she's holding up too. :wub: Not her best song, but she deserves all the success she does get.

Took me ages to find MJ's 'Hold My Hand' - it says it was released November 15th - that can't be right??
