I forgot Pyromania topped your chart, it had a run of something like 12-10-19-OUT for me or something, I know what you mean about starting to tire of them - they need to remove themselves from the GaGa bandwagon and move on.
HANG ON. Aled's replacing me?! :snif:

Yes. I feel you've become a skank recently. SORRY.

You should change it to "super rubbish straight BFF" ;P

Hang on a minute! There's a trio of the year award! IT SHOULD BE US THREE! Forget, Shoat, Tirren and Jark!

It could work I suppose. Though if it does happen I insist on going all PCD. We claim to be a trio but really it's a case of Aled and the back-up dancers

Yes. I feel you've become a skank recently. SORRY.

You bitch bitch.

Good to see GaGa/Beyoncé not too high, I got bored of it very quickly. Actually gone off GaGa alot recently.

In this section we have Taio Cruz's 'Dynamite', which I still like, but don't particularly "love" anymore, again thanks to radio. The Saturdays first of 3 tracks in this chart. The other two will be a while yet. A Shontelle double whammy at 48 and 47, both stunning songs. Olly Murs' debut single is at 46, he also has another track still to come. Girls Can't Catch had an awful debut single, however 'Echo' was the song everyone thought would propel them to the higher reaches of the chart. It didn't happen unfortunately. Ironik's 'Falling In Love' featuring the beautiful Jessica Lowndes is the second number 1 to feature in my EOY chart so far. Kevin Rudolf is up next at #43 with a song that received a mammoth chart run thanks to the UK being so behind on releases :drama:. Kate Nash is the third number 1 in my chart to not appear in the top 40! 'Do Wah Doo' is brilliant, just lacks a second verse and is therefore too short! Jason's first of 4 entries in my chart! The highlight of 'T4 On The Beach', EASILY for me. 'In My Head', is actually my least favourite single so far  Although it's still a solid 8/9 out of 10!

026. A1 'Waiting For Daylight' [3-7-7-9-9-10] (6 Weeks)

Best Tracks; 'Don't Wanna Lose You Again' & 'Take You Home'

In this albums section we have Robyn with her 2nd 'Body Talk'. I never got the big deal with this and I always thought Part 1 was better/under appreciated. Alphabeats second album 'The Beat Is...' was a nice enough follow up, I suppose. But it was completely different to the sort of thing I love Alphabeat for. Selena's shockingly decent album 'A Year Without Rain' has some Ke$ha-lite gems on it, but the song that is best is without a doubt 'Live Like There's No Tomorrow'. Kate Nash's flop 2nd album enters at 27 here. It's actually a good follow-up, it's 'Made Of Bricks', just more mature, I guess. Last but not least is A1's comeback album 'Waiting For Daylight'. A pleasing surprise, thanks to Gooddelta who told me to download it. Lovely album.

050. Taio Cruz 'Dynamite' [33-27-25-29-15-3-3-4-6-10-15-20-23-30] (14 Weeks) I prefer the remix with J-Lo

049. The Saturdays 'Missing You' [9-5-7-7-9-8-5-8-16-23-30-38] (12 Weeks) Aww, I really like this.

046. Olly Murs 'Please Don't Let Me Go' [23-16-11-9-10-10-8-6-15-27-37] (11 Weeks) I think his new single is better, I'm gonna be buying his album soon.

049. The Saturdays 'Missing You' [9-5-7-7-9-8-5-8-16-23-30-38] (12 Weeks)

048. Shontelle 'Impossible' [33-20-18-18-16-12-10-10-11-20-26-21-29-27-33-39] (16 Weeks)

LOVE. I did like Taio Cruz at first, but the lyrics sounded like they were written by a five year old and it just sounded unbelievably generic.

050. Taio Cruz 'Dynamite' - Can't stand him, this is no different. Great for 3hours then just terrible

049. The Saturdays 'Missing You' - I do love the Sats

045. Girls Can't Catch 'Echo' - And this

050. Taio Cruz 'Dynamite' [33-27-25-29-15-3-3-4-6-10-15-20-23-30] (14 Weeks)

049. The Saturdays 'Missing You' [9-5-7-7-9-8-5-8-16-23-30-38] (12 Weeks)

048. Shontelle 'Impossible' [33-20-18-18-16-12-10-10-11-20-26-21-29-27-33-39] (16 Weeks)

047. Shontelle 'Perfect Nightmare' [14-8-6-11-15-21-25-29-33] (9 Weeks) I do slightly prefer this to 'Impossible', so glad it's a place higher

046. Olly Murs 'Please Don't Let Me Go' [23-16-11-9-10-10-8-6-15-27-37] (11 Weeks)

041. Jason DeRülo 'In My Head' [25-21-19-17-17-18-16-19-18-18-21-5-8-10-14-27-34] (17 Weeks) His worst single by far. Shouldn't have been a UK #1 imo

Certainly agree with LLTNT being the best song on Selena's album

Doo-Wah-Doo :o I think I can guess more or less the 3 or 4 songs that one of which will be your number 1 :)

The following are in contention for my End of Year list...

055. Lady GaGa feat. Beyonce 'Telephone'

056. Robyn 'Dancing On My Own'

068. Rihanna 'Only Girl (In The World)'

070. Tinie Tempah feat. Eric Turner 'Written In The Stars'

085. Katy Perry 'Firework'

086. Katy Perry feat. Snoop Dogg 'California Gurls'

100. M.I.A. 'XXXO'

Not that many, but I reckon I've not heard half of them...

Lemar kickstarts the top 40 with a career best song. Diana Vickers' debut single is at 39. Do you remember when this song was genuinely "The best song of the year"? :drama: Olly Murs' latest single 'Thinking Of Me' continues to grow on me and is at 38 in the EOY chart. JLS' personal best 'Love ou More', enters at #37! Alesha Dixon and the flop, 'Radio', is not a flop in my chart and has finished at a respectable #36. Marina & the Diamonds' first of three entries, 'I Am Not A Robot' is at #35. Beautiful song. 'Nothin' On You', the song that undoubtedly boosted the career of Bruno Mars, is at #34. Jessie J's debut/hype smash hit 'Do It Like A Dude' is at #33. Alexandra Burkes 2nd of 4 entries 'The Silence' is at #32. Finishing off this section is the brilliant Pop collaboration from Timbaland and the pop star of the summer Katy Perry with 'If We Ever Meet Again'.

024. Sugababes 'Sweet 7' [8-9-4-6-3-3-6] (7 Weeks)

Best Tracks; 'She's A Mess', 'Wait For You' & 'Crash & Burn'

023. Angus & Julia Stone 'Down The Way' [7-4-5-5-6-7-9] (7 Weeks)

022. Scouting For Girls 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV' [4-2-4-7-8-8-9-7] (8 Weeks)

Best Tracks; 'On The Radio', 'This Ain't A Love Song' & 'Blue As Your Eyes'

021. Ellie Goulding 'Bright Lights' [9-4-4-X-4] (4 Weeks) *STILL CHARTING*

Best Tracks; 'Believe Me', 'The Writer' & 'Human'

At 25 in the albums EOY countdown is the first (and best, imo) part of Robyn's 'Body Talk' collection. It contains 2 of my favourite Robyn tracks ever, whereas the other parts, just feel like re-hashes... Sugababes 'Sweet 7' is next. When it was good, it was VERY good. But once it peaked, the appeal didn't last for very much longer. Angus & Julia Stone's new album 'Down The Way' is at 23 in my chart. Absolutely beautiful album. Scouting For Girls have their haters, but I am a fan, even though the first era is so much better than the second/latest era (bar 'On The Radio' - which is my favourite SFG song). Ellie Goulding's 'Bright Lights' repackaging of 'Lights', has made me appreciate her album so much more. I don't think I actually ever disliked Ellie as much as I seemed to have talked about, I just didn't think she was worthy of all the hype. However, her album is growing the more times I listen to it, even if 'Starry Eyed' and 'Guns & Horses' are the two worst on the album.

Oh wow, Once is about 30+ places lower than I expected :o It must have really worn off on you over the year considering that amazing chart run!
However, her album is growing the more times I listen to it, even if 'Starry Eyed' and 'Guns & Horses' are the two worst on the album.

Oh definitely. Starry Eyed was unbelievably overrated and was instrumental in putting me off Ellie for ages. Guns & Horses was slightly better, The Writer was gorgeous and I love Your Song even more. It helps that the demos I've heard during the year are also amazing!

It really did. Over exposure + a repetitive chorus/hook is very nearly, always irritating. :( Poor Diana. Strange how I've come round to liking Alexandra a hell of a lot more than I like Diana, even though during their times in X Factor I loved Diana a hell of a lot more than Alexandra :(
