The second single to be taken from his debut album 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' & follow-up to the huge 'Just The Way You Are'.

Currently smashing in the US and is sitting nicely at number 2 on US iTunes, already!

Definitely undeniably better than 'Just The Way You Are', it just can't be compared. Marvellous.

Love this song, was really disappointed that he didn't perform this when supporting Travie McCoy on his recent UK tour, very odd choice imo
I don't find it as good as 'Just the Way You Are', but both are excellent nontheless! Hopefully 'Marry You' is the third single, as Glee did an amazing performance of it - so people may know of it before its release!
Just The Way You are is Brilliant, and so is Grendade. Both different yet great. Another #1 for Mr Mars.
"Doo-Wops & Hooligans" is full of songs that are release worthy. I'm not surprised that "Grenade" is the next choice as it is the first song on the album. Awesome song! :D As its being released in January, it definitely has a chance of reaching no#1 as competition may be limited, and it is Bruno Mars... :P Hopefully this is followed by "Talking To The Moon".
Can't stand 'Just The Way You Are' personally, it's incredibly sickly and cheesy, do not see the appeal at all. This is slightly better but the lyrics are ridiculously OTT, as is the mood and his voice for the song. Not really a fan of his voice either, it sounds a bit whiney.

Not feeling this. Bruno mars is hugely overated anyway. Never liked Nothin on you or Just the way you are.

I prefer him with his hat on, hides that terrible haircut! :drama:

Good song :)

I now really dislike this, his voice is already getting slightly annoying - as Jack said is a bit whiny (I realise Katy's voice is whiny too before you say anything, but I like her voice).
I did love this at first, but I'm getting slightly bored of it now.. Pretty sure I was the same with Just The Way You Are
I'm gonna slightly agree with Sabrina tbh. I think it's because I've had the album for a bit (downloaded) so I've listened to it loads as I love the album. I think I'm the only person who prefers JTWYA.

Nope I prefer JTWYA. Always have. I also prefer 3 or 4 others from the album, however I still think this is incredibly strong as it's a very, very strong debut. 'Talking To The Moon', 'Marry You', 'Runaway Baby' should all get a release

I'm not alone, yay  I think it is an incredibly strong debut, I love all the songs actually. Talking To The Moon must be the next single though

I really hope he gets a number one with this along with his amazing album.. It's just odd why he releases everything in the us so far ahead of the uk.

I prefer this SO MUCH more to JTWYA, but i'm already getting quite bored of it...

I hope it doesn't hang around the UK Top 10 for ages, odds are it will though.

This is leagues above JTWYA!

Agreed! Can't stop listening to it.

Weird explosive them in the charts recently... Firework, Dynamite, This, whats next? :)

Really like this. But i'm sure the chorus (especially the bit that goes "yeah yeah") is a rip off of a famous song or sounds really similar to a famous song - i just can't think which one though. Does anyone else think that??
