And you say that about Jessie J, have you seen some other music videos around now? :/

i just thought it was soo tacky and trying so hard, and it just came over as a complete mess, with 'jessie j' looking frankly horrible.

she is obviously not the only one who is like this, but i just felt sorry for her watching it. trying far too hard and looking far too easy.

Have to admit not a fan of the songor video either, but i think i could like her, need to see more of her first before i come to form an opinion of her. I dont particularly not like the song, i just think its a little unoriginal and grates on me a bit.

All I'm saying is that it's a bit annoying that you would bring it up when it isnt necessary. Was end of discussion hours ago. -_-

Please just shut up. <_<

:-) thanks

There's no reason just to post thanks. I know it's nice and all, but it just makes the thread long. Speaking of, this is page 50 now, could someone start a new thread please.

The Flood (Chery Cole) again to #17.

More (Usher) isnt really going anywhere, been in the 30s for so long now!

saw/heard the jessie j video for the 1st time last night, what a pile of $h!t. honestly it is beyond sad, she looks like a prostitute and frankly sings and dances like one. just horrific.
Hasn't Jessie J stated in an interview (I think with Radio 1), that this song (DILAD) is just a "parody" of what's in the charts and the way videos are now a days? Maybe Jack can shed some light on this as I think it was him who said it. She's making fun of the industry with this song and it's funny seeing how many people believe it's a genuine/serious song. She's been given the Critic's Choice Award at the Brits and her next single 'Price Tag', is set to be a surefire number 1!

Also, as for her voice, she is a true talent and says she will NEVER mime! You should download her three track Rockfeedback Sessions EP. 'Stand Up', 'Who You Are' & 'Price Tag' are breathtaking!

fair tenough, but you have just wasted as much space telling me not to say thanks so isn't that defeating the point of your message

why doesn't she show her 'talent' then instead of acting like an idiot. copying/parodying what she thinks is wrong with the industry makes her just as bad, if not worse as she is just as happy to sell music with it but hasn't the guts to get her name known by showing her 'talent'.

sounds to me like another puppet of the record industry claiming to be something different. why doesn't she show us why she is different from all that, cus she needs a gimmick to get known.

This is just a hype single, to get everyone talking about her and noticing her. So far it's working.
