I've not heard The Flood yet, but I'm almost 100% sure it'll go top 40. I mean, it's Cheryl Cole. Her songs are usually decent-ish anyway, and always do great in airplay (apart from 3 Words, which I don't think did as well as her other songs in terms of airplay).

 

Yeah, I think Can't Make This Over might flop now. She needs to release Coming Home. That's another guaranteed top 20 hit for her. I heard another amazing song called Coming Home though, on the radio. It's so good! I hope it does well in the charts if/when it gets released. Didn't catch who the artists were though.

It's soo good. I see a tiny bit of Never Leave You in there actually (the Tinchy Stryder/Amelle song, not the Lumidee song :lol:), and that's my 2nd favourite song from 2009, so that's only a good thing. :wub: Particularly 0:43 to 0:54. Ahh. It's total gorg. :wub:

 

I also think it sounds a bit like Live Your Life by T.I./Rihanna and Invincible by Tinie Tempah/Kelly Rowland. Like the piano, the deep synths, the drum patterns and the violins.

 

It's like a mash-up of all my favourite songs. I am SO buying it!!! :wub:

 

EDIT: I've just read it's produced by Alex Da Kid and Jay-Z (yes, I'm already so obsessed with it I'm researching it :lol:). No wonder it's so good. Alex Da Kid is literally ON FIRE. Airplanes, Love the Way You Lie, and now this? He literally oozes awesomeness.

I never looked at the song like that! But now you mentioned it, it's glaringly obvious that it's like a mix of those songs, you mentioned. It's bloody amazing though. Also, regarding Alex Da Kid, have you heard T.I. & Christina Aguilera 'Castle Walls'? I personally think it's his weakest offering yet, although it is still good, but most people seem to think it's his best...

We haven't had any mids today so I don't really know, but 99% certain that Jacko is safely top 10 for Sunday. I was a big fan actually, but it's just OK for me. The only song I really like on the new album is Hollywood Tonight.

Really hope The Silence has a shot at Top 10 next week. It looks like being a quiet release week other than the X-factor winner.Tinnie should get a boost now the video is out.
