December 12, 201015 yr It sounds more like a chart show ALREADY. But then I haven't listened to Reggie for a while because it makes me want to stab myself.
December 12, 201015 yr Er, there was a trance #1 last year... Well I suppose it was trancey, but very infused with electro, which seems the norm these days. Hardly pure trance.
December 12, 201015 yr I don't remember one! Do you mean Calvin Harris? I can definitely see trance in I'm Not Alone I suppose. Yes, I do mean I'm Not Alone. The fountain of knowledge that is Wikipedia classifies it as trance (well, electro-pop/trance) so it has to be trance  Willow :puke: *mutes radio*
December 12, 201015 yr I don't see Ellie overtaking Willow to #2 somehow, especially as she was #1 in the first midweeks.

December 12, 201015 yr Well I suppose it was trancey, but very infused with electro, which seems the norm these days. Hardly pure trance. Yeah, I'd say it's more electropop, with trance as a secondary genre. Although, to be fair, nearly all the songs in the chart cross-over into more than one genre. It has to be that way, in order to appeal to a wider audience. Edited December 12, 201015 yr by Eric_Blob
December 12, 201015 yr I whip my hair back and forth x 100 is painful! Who was the youngest person to get a top 3 hit in recent years?
December 12, 201015 yr I have horrible visions of Kylie being like #32 today, and even if it isn't it won't be much higher. :( I'm amazed it charted it all. It's so boring. I'm still crying that "Get Outta My Way" missed the top 10. All my favorite songs seem to have missed the top 10 this year, Ke$ha, Will.I.AM & Nicki Minaj, Kylie - what is the world coming to
December 12, 201015 yr 40 (from 37) Gyptian - Hold You [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/MOS162CDX.JPG Chart Run: 16-23-28-37-40 [5 wks] Release date: 08-11-2010 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: MOS162CDX Label: ministry of sound Windell Beneto Edwards became the singer known as Gyptian when he left his rural home in St. Andrew, Jamaica, and travelled to Portmore. Combining hypnotic nyahbinghi drums with lyrics that plead for an end to violence and crime, his first single, "Serious Times," exploded across Jamaica. After being presented with enough socially conscious music and old-school lovers rock to fill a full-length, Gyptian made his debut in 2006 with My Name Is Gyptian on the VP label. Two years later he returned with I Can Feel Your Pain. In 2010 his massive Jamaican hit "Hold You," taken from the album of the same name, put him back in the spotlight. - HMV Video here: YKlCEUngHB0 track listing 1. Hold You [uK radio edit] 2. December 12, 201015 yr I've not heard Greg James before as I never catch the midweek update or anything, but already I can tell he's SO much better than Reggie (not hard), and probably even Scott Mills. Please let him do this permanently.
December 12, 201015 yr I whip my hair back and forth x 100 is painful! Who was the youngest person to get a top 3 hit in recent years? I think it's Bieber (born 1994).

All my favorite songs seem to have missed the top 10 this year, Ke$ha, Will.I.AM & Nicki Minaj, Kylie - what is the world coming to  I really like Better Than Today. All the Lovers was the boring one for me, although I agree Get Outta My Way should've definitely gone top 10. And I'm also still devasted that Check It Out didn't go top 10, although I'm happy Higher did.
December 12, 201015 yr Not keen on this one. Quite surprised this crossed over into the top 20 actually, sounds a bit niche.
