May 15, 201114 yr It did come accross well on stage and the crowd in the arena seemed to have loved it, it was staged well, although the dancing was out of sync.
May 15, 201114 yr Jedward came 8th in the semi final, thought they might have been around 6th, Still 8th in the semi and 8th in the final isnt a bad result and its Ireland best performance in the final since 2000 when eamon Toal came 6th.

May 15, 201114 yr 8th is very respectable and I'm rather chuffed! ^_^ There was a moment when Ireland were only 6 points behind first place and I started to get a bit worried! If 1.6 million [a THIRD of the country] watched the semi here, I can only imagine the viewership for the final! :o And had Jedward not preformed in such a high tempo block then I think we could have been Top 5. I'm looking forward to the televote/jury split votes!

May 15, 201114 yr Ya, i think its doing well on itunes in quite a few european countries, looks like doing eurovision has paid of for jedward, interetsing to see what they will do next, even though im not a fan i applaud them for making so much money from so little talent, the management team behind them is doing a great job, these guys have enough money made now to be mortgage free for their lives and that in itself is impressive, i know they have made more tha that but to be in that position at their age in this climate is nothing to be sniffed at.
May 15, 201114 yr Sweden just LOVE a good bit of pop music, and the Studio of this is f***ing glorious. The live performance was diabolical. They can't sing, and by god they can't dance. It looked like the results of giving a 6year old with ADD sugar, speed, meth and crack dissolved into a bottle of Irn Bru.

May 15, 201114 yr Its doing amazingly well accross europe, its officaly #82 in this weeks uk top 100, in ireland its #1 and #11 on itunes and its way way ahead of the number 2.

I've always liked them as people, but I did doubt their ability to do well and I'm glad to be proven wrong. This result is great for us and I really hope we can keep it up. I don't necessarily want Ireland to win just yet but a few more Top 10 results would be fantastic. Why people here are disappointed with 8th is beyond me.

I have to agree with this, when jedward were selected i said not a hope in hell ireland have of qualifying, let alone come 8th in the final, even though im not a big fan of them or the song it was great to see Ireland do well and pick up a few 12 points aswell, there was huge hype around Jedward and eurovision and with all the doom and gloom Ireland is experiencing economically i think it gave the country a bit of a much needed lift. 8th is very respectable, and considering how Ireland has performed over the last 10 years or so its a very decent placing, on top of that Jedward are looking to POTENTIALLY have the biggest hit from this year as its doing very well on alot of i tunes charts around Europe.
