Haven't a scooby :( Phil?

oooh a Saturdays Top 5!

01. 'Higher'

02. 'Ego'

03. 'Issues' (I feel like I'm the lone ranger on this. But I seriously love it!)

04. 'Karma'

05. 'Up'/'Chasing Lights'

Incredibly hard. Easily the most consistent girl group since The Spice Girls, imo.

All of us included it in our top 5

It's Missing You which is their truly underrated single!

Oh LOL! :o It seems to get more hate than love though :(

'Missing You' is brilliant too. It's just their whole back catalogue is strong! I even like 'Forever Is Over' now!

That makes one of us! It will forever remain their only weak link (to date) for me. I'll never understand how in peak position terms, it's their biggest hit :/

Guys, can we keep discussion of The Saturdays in the Saturdays forum?

(1. Up / 2. Higher / 3. Missing You / 4. Wordshaker / 5. Work)

p.s. laugh all you like, but I'm always efficient at hosting, I'd have had the results out by now. just sayin'.

I love how these results are two weeks late. I'm sure I'm allowed to start saying FLOP MOD without getting a vicious attack in response by now.
Hosting, perhaps. Your modding borders on the floptastic though :P

The saddest thing perhaps though is that nobody actually seems to care that things have been delayed by such a long time. There's been no discussion in here for the best part of a fortnight :drama: Even 'the usual suspects' haven't arrived to cry 'when's the next contest?' :drama:

I don't blame Phil, god knows we all have lives outside of the forum! But imagine if at the contest's peak in mid 2008-mid 2009, results of a contest were delayed indefinitely - there would have been UPROAR, crying, anger, perhaps depression  Looking back, I'm quite embarrassed with how deeply obsessed many of us (including myself) were with it at that point! Those hosts that dared to split their results over two evenings were no doubt scarred for life over the upset they caused the BJSC loons

One week. I care but I'm not able to do anything about it anyway. Phil is considering moving XXXI back to February.

2. Higher

3. Up

4. Forever Is Over (I like it too)

5. Flashback

Sounds like a good idea. Is Rob still hosting it/will have enough free time then to do so?

That's up to him. We're not going to stop him (well I won't... :kink:)
I have three potential entries for the next contest. Hoping I don't get bored of any of them by the time the next contest comes around though.

On a separate note, thank GOD the xmas hats have gone :cheer: This calls for an Alice Deejay top 3;

1. Better Off Alone

2. Back In My Life

3. The Lonely One

HAHA!

01. 'Better Off Alone' (one of the greatest dance records of all time!)

02. 'Back In My Life'

03. 'Will I Ever'

I don't think i've heard 'The Lonely One'!

It was amazing, it was the follow up to Will I Ever and got to #16 here in late 2000 but was quite a bit 'darker' than there other singles. I was something of a loon for them from 1999-2001, where they managed 5 #1's and 4 #2's in my personal chart, all from the same album :drama: I still rank both Better Off Alone and Back In My Life amongst my top ten favourite songs ever!

Ahhhh I remember that song now! It was good. But I prefer the three I ranked...

oh and Beyoyo needs to get some originality with her 3 female dancers videos :drink:

This will be tomorrow night :cheer:

This is your fault :smoke: If you hadn't dumped 100 tracks on me the week before xmas this would have been long since finished.

Jus sayin

I have two utterly fantastic entries, and many quite good ones. But I'm actually not listening to the songs I'm considering the most, so that I know I'll love them and support them 100% when the contest comes around! :cheer:
