Saw that big reveal coming a mile off tbh.... As soon as you saw the name "Melody Pond" it was like, AWWW, COME ON.....

Not impressed in the slightest with splitting up the season, really lame of them, IMO, they've never felt the need to do that before.... By the time three months is up and we've had Torchwood, I reckon most of us will have forgotten about half the events in the first seven episodes....

13 actually + 1 christmas special, I wonder if they mean this year's or next year's.

I'm not speaking to any of you.

Clearly you are, hence still replying to us :D

it's a whole new series and they said a series of 14 episodes. they dont know when it'll air yet but next year at the same time.

This current series continues with 6 episodes in a couple months.

I hope it is broadcast next year, as they haven't confirmed that yet, but I shouldn't see why not. But didn't Eccleston say he was staying and boom he went.

It'll be the usual 13 ep series and xmas special.

ALSO, just where is Severin of late? I haven't noticed him for ages and I miss him.

Hello :hi: I am still here and haven't deserted you all. I've just been very busy lately. This can variously be blamed on sunshine, work, alcohol, xbox and a woman. Must make more of an affort I know. My bad.

In the vaguest nod to keeping things on topic though, I read in the paper today that Roy Skelton - the original voice of the Daleks (and Zippy and George off Rainbow) - has passed away. Few people can have actually given so much to the legend of Doctor Who without actually being that famous themselves. R.I.P.

I read about that, and that he voiced the Daleks, thats incredible :o a real legend :( RIP

I didn't even notice that part of his comment to be honest! :D

I was just totally sold on the potential for gossip. ^_^

3 months with now Doctor Who :(

Torchwood makes up for it :)

YOUR SIG IS HILARIOUS!!!

I can't find this series on iPlayer :( Is there anywhere I can watch them? (I've missed all but the first one.)

I'm starting to worry about Who next year after reading Gallifrey Base. :(

Frickin BBC!

I don't understand why cut short such a successful and cult show...

Frickin Moffat I say

It's nothing to do with Moffat  It's because of BBC budget cuts, which are the same reason this series was split into two parts.
