They're releasing a deluxe version of the album (also called Bumpy Ride) so perhaps that's what they were talking about

Wow! Thanks very much, Manic! I was very pleased with the standard of their second album, particularly the first four tracks and tracks 8 through to 11.

What happened to Shakira and Dizzee? :o

It was on iTunes I think, it just flopped big time :(

Download-only

:o Random, well thats me not buying it..

It was released last week

No it wasn't. It was pulled. It never appeared on iTunes apart from a compilation, and it was on Amazon for about a day and a half. Apparently it's out in February now.

New single from OMD – History Of Modern (Part I) to be released 28 February 2011, source here.

The Cut Copy album is called Zonoscope and is released 7 February.

Also, you have the Clare Maguire album listed as The Last Dance, however that is the title of the single, the album is called Light After Dark. Source here.

Thanks for all your release schedules over the years MK.

For whoever takes this over, the new Elbow album Build A Rocket Boys will be released on 7 March. Source - elbow.co.uk

Fair enough

ANNOUNCEMENT

This is my final New Release Schedule as there will be no more updates due to the Christmas/New Year holiday.

All being well the schedule will return in January with a new host. Please show them the same support & help you have shown me over the last 6½ years.

Thank you everyone

When 'host' was being mentioned i was thinking initially you were talking about a new server for hosting buzzjack on or something.

ANYWAY thanks for all your work, very interesting, valuable (eg the convenience (time/effort saved) of having all the info together eg consistently highly reliable, accurate + comprehensive) + enjoyable info.Having free, open access to such info seems pretty exclusive that i'll visit the forum if only for info from this thread + nothing else (like just now!). :)

Strictly speaking though it flopped big time (as mentioned) BEFORE it was pulled, didn't it? Why pull something unless its (looks like) a commercial disaster? I mean what else would you expect, its Shakira, even the Xfactor can't save her career from constantly bombing, so desperate to have career in from a country's music chart you've heard of + with a significant fraction of international sales she uses something as credibility busting as Dizzee R when she has already used enough gimmicks to try to resuscitate her career that her own credibility is already thoroughly shafted.

Not really. It wasn't meant to be released, the label had clearly delayed the release date but not told amazon, and the compilation version was put on iTunes after people had requested them to add the song. The reason why she flopped after X Factor is (much as it pains me to say this) Did It Again is quite a $h!t song, she would have been better off doing Gypsy... or She Wolf.... awooooooooo :kink:

Anyway it looks like Martin Solveig & Dragonette - Hello has gone back to January 3 - source.

Likewise Bag Raiders - Sunlight (single) out on February 14 - source.

(I'm not telling this for you to update MK, just for the new person, whoever that is).

Where is the new host? Surely they should've updated the new release schedule by now?

Anyway, does anyone know what's happened to Ne-Yo's ''Cause I Said So'? Is it being released as originally planned?

Why is The Wanted a download only single? SUCKS!! Best song on the album and it'll most likely miss the top 10 because of that
Actually, most of the big names release in this week are download only - The Wanted, Tinie Tempah, Cee-Lo Green, and Ne-Yo are all download only. Odd.
