How high up does 'Auld Lang Syne' normally get at New Year?

So proud of Rihanna's (and Katy's) success in the charts recently. 'Only Girl' must be incredibly high still combined.

How high up does 'Auld Lang Syne' normally get at New Year?

 

IIRC the Gay Gordon version got to about #30 on 1 Jan 2010 (it didn't chart officially though)

 

Anyway, of the new releases:

 

AVH & Aoki around #29, I only heard it today, it's pure noise, I love it :wub: But anything Steve Aoki touches flops (possibly a slightly premature statement) so I'm predicting the same peak as 'I'm In The House'

Nero I think will be another fairly big #10 hit a la 'I Need Air' but it could be bigger or it could stall outside the top 10

White Lies will get to around #37 unfortunately - is it just me or do the vocals on 'Bigger Than Us' sound similar to the vocals on the song 'Rio' by Duran Duran? :unsure:

It might be #4 when combined with the third version in the low top 60 though, but then again Katy Perry has a second version of Firework just outside the top 40

It will be, sales wise. It's already got over 600k sales, Umbrella had 10 weeks at #1 and has only 700k+ sales

yes but it tends to just increase sales hugely of all songs, where as the uk it tends to increase older songs.

 

the top 2 songs in the US this week sold over 500k each and what's my name sold 430k
