Bruno Mars Grenade is the most obvious #1 of 2011.

Hope Nero does well with 'Me And You', brilliant track. Could Martin Solveig 'Hello' be a slow burner and eventually make the top 40?

There was also Perfect Stranger by Magnetic Man/Katy B, which deserved to be massive, as it was a fantastic track, but only charted top 20 in the end, I think. :(

 

I remember with Perfect Stranger, it charted really high in the first few hours after release, and then climbed insanely slowly up the chart after that, which was so annoying, because judging by how high it got originally, it looked like it was going to be massive. :(

 

Nero will go top 10 though, I'm pretty sure of it.

 

And Grenade will definitely get #1.

It would be great to see White Lies get To 40

if adele and bruno m,ars record companies knew anything about the chart they would release the download TODAY and either could get to no1 - both have had plenty of promo and the fake version of grenade has been top 100 on itunes since before xmas!!

Adele should have released. A few years ago it may have been more effective to suppress downloads to build demand, but nowadays two months is simply too long. Rolling In The Deep had its première in November. Songs should be released within a month of their première date. Adele will definitely have lost sales over the Xmas period.
