I can answer for Cheryl: Alan Carr in which she was incredible and her performances were flawless.

Her Alan Carr performances were not "flawless" at all. Yes, 'The Flood' was better than 'Promise This' was, vocally. But they were both still poor. But I do wish people would stop with the same old, "Cheryl can't sing" etc... OK then...

 

 

 

She CAN sing live, just not with most of the material she thinks she's "good at" or given... She needs to do an acoustic album. Her Live Lounge performances are pretty decent too, from what I can remember (well, except the 'Parachutes' performance). Yes not the greatest vocalist ever, but she's decent and with the right stuff she CAN be a good live singer.

I do think a lot of people are very cruel about Cheryl, but I think that's because people feel she's overrated. Like she didn't really do anything, but she became nation's sweetheart, but I've noticed it's been starting to go in the other direction the past year. She's not really done that much, but she's getting very hated. Yeah, she can't sing, and she did something racist some years ago, yet a few months ago some people wanted her dead, which I thought was just too extreme. It's like because she was so liked, people who think her popularity was undeserved are hating her to compensate.

 

In other news, Tinie Tempah is releasing another album in about 8 or 9 months I think. :wub: So he might have another single premiere a couple of months after Wonderman and the JLS song are released. I love him so much. :)

I don't think she cares that much, she refused to sing it at Album Chartshow a few weeks back, I don't think she intended it to be as big as it has become. Think she will definetly gain alot of new fans when she releases 'Price Tag' next year.

Wow...I had forgotten how amazing that duet with Snow Patrol was! She sounded fantastic!!! I wish her live vocals were like that all the time :D

 

Anyway, back on topic! Really hope the Flood can make top ten...as I think its def one of her better singles!

Cheryl is just a pretty face and nothing more. The Flood is struggling, someone with her profile should firstly have a better song than that dull piece of crap and secondly be at least top 10 by now.

Anyway, the amount of energy some people here put into their hating of Cheryl is quite worrying, especially in a... Itunes thread. If someone wants to be a Cheryl loon, I don't see what's the harm. Why do some of you try so hard to destroy the love some people can have for an artist ? You say "it's sad" to be her fan, personnaly I rather spread the love for an artist than spread the hate or bully someone because he likes such and such artist, and this works for every artist of course.

Yes, I'm a Cheryl loon, and I'm proud of it.
