I've only just arrived. :lol: Radio 1 always used to play the year-end chart a week early, but they used to get away with it because the last week of the year always used to have pitifully low sales, meaning there was very little change in the end-of-year standings in the final week of the year ... now since downloads have taken off, the last week of the year has the HIGHEST sales, meaning there WERE big changes in the end-of-year chart in the last week of the year, so Radio 1 correspondingly decided to move their end-of-year chart back a week for the last few years... but I guess, this year, they decided to take a chance and try and capitalise on higher Boxing Day ratings by running it today.

I really want Eminem and Rihanna to win. :lol: So the year-end top 40 that we'll look back on in years to come is not the one just aired, but will have next week's sales included? It seems a bit pointless of Radio 1 to play the year-end chart this week, rather than next week, unless they're also as worried as I am that Matt will win, so they want to play it now to prentend he's #2. :lol: Again sorry I'm panicking. :lol:
