Apparently he's releasing a rap album independantly, the label he was with didn't want him releasing a rap album so he told them to f*** off and will be releasing it himself, plus it's supposed to be the soundtrack to a new film he's bringing out based on the Strickland Banks character. :)

chris de burgh wrote loads of songs in the 70s.like the christmas song he made in 1973 (think it was called a spaceman came travelling)wasnt in the top 40 until 1986!!

I think so. A clip of one of the tracks from that album are played at the beginning of the video for 'The Recluse'.

Precocious R&B vocalist/pianist Alicia Keys was hand-picked by Clive Davis as one of the flagship artists for his post-Arista label, J Records. Album sales must've been absolutely HUGE last week - Rihanna would've sold atleast 250K to have overtaken Alicia Keys on the YTD Albums. Incredible for her to increase substantially in the week AFTER Xmas and after the effect of her X Factor performance had worn off!

That's incredible for a #2 :o She really is ridiculously massive at the moment. Shows that one faltering album campaign will never taint the future career of a true superstar.
