December 29, 201014 yr Wow, this is VERY strange... but it seems Radio 1 may have been alerted to this, as they seemed to change last minute to the chart of the week, and they only announced this week's top 10 singles in the show...

December 29, 201014 yr The OCC will put the 'Revised' Singles & Albums Charts on their Site, next Week. Stored in their Archives, as the usual Top 40's. But what about the rest of the chart? I assume it'll be correct when Chartsplus sends out the top 200s later in the week According to M!key the only other changes in the singles chart are Not Afraid/Better Than Today, Sex On Fire/Shame and Don't Stop Believin'/Bad Romance swapping. December 29, 201014 yr But what about the rest of the chart? I assume it'll be correct when Chartsplus sends out the top 200s later in the week According to M!key the only other changes in the singles chart are Not Afraid/Better Than Today, Sex On Fire/Shame and Don't Stop Believin'/Bad Romance swapping. Charts+ have said they will publish the revised chart. However, that means it may be a little late this week.

Those original sales *seemed* too good to be true - and they *were*. Averaging 19.5% high - I guess that provides a basis for correcting my YTD calculations, at least. December 30, 201014 yr Those original sales *seemed* too good to be true - and they *were*. They really were. :( The top 3 albums still sold more than the US top 3 though, that's something at least.

December 30, 201014 yr I'd imagine that 18-20% of the market for top albums is a decent estimate for Tesco, especially at Christmas time. If it was to do with a supermarket then I'm guessing their sales will have been counted twice for whatever reason. It also stands as a lot of the albums that have fallen are typical supermarket fodder, you probably wouldn't find Deadmau5 or Daft Punk in a supermarket, which is why they've both gone up 6 places.
January 2, 201114 yr shows how ridiculously CONTROLLED the chart is nowadays with singles and albums stocked at supermarkets having a much better chance of being sucessful!!
