Having walked away with the coveted "Best British Newcomer" award at last years Kerrang! Awards, the hotly tipped scream-core Bullet For My Valentine hit the road on the Kerrang! Most Wanted Tour and received solid, positive press for their dates alongside Anthrax and Funeral For A Friend. Now with a special edition reissue of their album 'Poison' approaching, they release 'Tears Don't Fall', their fourth single to be taken from their long player.- HMV

Fourth UK top 40 hit for the hard rock band who will open for Axl Rose and the rest of Guns "N" Roses this summer.

I didn't hear this track from her new album out of the ones I heard this week, and I hate to admit it, but I kind of like it. :o

It reminds me of Jem

Voted Best New Band at Q Awards (2004) and NME Awards (2005), Razorlight demonstrated in their million selling debut album 'Up All Night' that they were not only able to provide the stuff of great magazine copy but musically they could prove to all the doubting Thomas' that their talent and ambition went way beyond anything anyone was expecting. Now, two years on from their classic first album start, Razorlight have made their definitive statement. They had a #2 single with 'Somewhere Else' and blew away their peers with their trademark riotous performance at Live 8. -HMV

Originally released on London Records back in 1984, by the legendary Bronski Beat, 'Small Town Boy' was a top 3 hit that sold thousands worldwide. The record featured Jimmy Somerville's unique soprano strains and a riff that became synonymous with the decade of hedonism and bad suits. Fast forward to 2006 and what you have is an Axwell/Angello remix that'll be found in every DJ record box for this summer. - HMV

Discussion thread

I don't know if it's really "Smalltown Boy" that is being sampled on this record, I think its Bronski Beat's follow up "Why" that it is being sampled here. Buy I'll listen to the record when I get a chance.

Lily Allen is a slag. She should learn to sing first before slagging off people with talent - how can she say certain people aren't role models? Look at her slagging them off in PUBLIC! Biatch!
Guess the Flaming Lips haven't made the top 40 singles this week

Discussion thread

They have done pretty well in the US this year, the Aussie act album made the top 30 here and the tune "Woman" was a hit on rock radio.
