I have never actually heard it! I don't intend too after the onslaught of "Make you feel my love." I have had my share of Adele for at least 40 Years :D

If he gets top 10 effect he could easily jump up to 7 looking at how close the pop bars are. Guys what we need to remember remember Britney "3" that didin't do do that good in the Uk either did If You Seek Amy. I think we're all maybe like Adele overhyping. Songs In The Uk don't really do that well without Airplay/video.

THIS. Rolling In The Deep is almost as annoying as Make You Feel My Love.

 

 

Personally, I think you should listen to the song to see whether you like it or not, before you comment on it. Otherwise you have no right to say that you dislike the song or whatever. Disliking Adele due to over exposure with MYFML or whatever, is fine. But not the song itself. You never know, you might actually like it.

Well, I can't speak for whether it's overrated, since I haven't heard it yet.

I generally work out how succesful a song will be by how well they're doing in the music video charts. At the moment, Coming Home is #1, Adele is #2 Aggro is #18, but Shakira (Loca) is #17 and Sugarland are #39 :o

I LOVE it. It's my favourite type of music (well, it's a given, considering how much I adore Live Your Life).

Coming Home is brilliant, love it. Prefer Pixie Lott & Jason Derulo - Coming Home Though! #470 on Itunes (unfortunatly it will not be released due to label politics)

Similar thing happened to Leona a few months ago in Germany. Some kid performed it on a TV show, and Run went up to #3! :o

 

The worldwide charts are a bit dominated at the moment though, by a certain Brittany. :rofl:

Yeah, That's Cry Me Out highest peak (her album got her 2nd highest peak behind the uk #16). I still can't believe Cry Me Out peaked at #12 imo it was one of the best ballads.. yes i know it was over a year ago but the song was brilliant.

 

Pixie Really is having a dissapointing Uk Run Atm.. Can't make this over & Broken Arrow Flopped. I just think Turn it Up Louder was just to get more tracks out and it has helped her album sales. Coming Home i hope gets released but only if labels sort it out. Her Album for a peak of #06 has did brilliant to get 760k+ sales.. I'm sure christina Agulera would have liked that (Her album is £2.99 on Play.Com) But I cant slag as Pixie Lott is only £3.99 !!

Yeah, to be honest, I do find it weird when a UK artist charts so much higher in another country. Like I Am Not a Robot by Marina & the Diamonds got to #6 in Norway! :o I can't imagine what it'd be like to have that song so popular here.

Who was talking about Loca :unsure: Anyway, no it didn't, it was never properly released. I was told it would be out in February, but it's not on the release schedule. The album is apparently out in April though. The UK label really messed this one up :(

Also Rihanna Has A Strong chance of top 40 this week ! She's close to the top 40 anyway and she's at #40 on Itunes. Will.i.am is down to #45 James Blake is down to #45 N Dubz - Girls #48. Gyption - Hold You #52 i would be shocked if Rihanna is not #40 in the official charts tommorow!
