Oh dear! Not as disastrous as I originally thought it would be, but it's still pretty bad! :(

Oh my god! They've edited a few words out? SO WHAT? It's the same song, it's hardly as disastrous as "If U Seek Amy". Some people need a grip.

They call it "Come On". Casual listeners will assume they're not the same song. If you only heard that edit, and went to look for it on iTunes, why would you assume Come On and some track called "S&M" are the same song?

It's the fact the word 'sex' is edited out when SOOO many songs say it. Also, it's just totally awful RENAMING it!

Bork. How do they even have the right to change the name of the song?
The most stupid thing about the renaming is that Radio 1 have been reporting on Rihanna's 'outrage' at the situation all day...meaning that they've been saying 'S & M' every news report. Surely completely defeats the point of renaming it in the first place?!

Oh dear BBC.

I'm really hoping Wynter Gordon's 'Dirty Talk' is pushed for release here and makes the Top 40. LOVE to see what mess they can do with that.

Would you all be so against this renaming/sensoring if it was a male artist? Just sayin'.

At the end of the day, the sexual innuendos are too much for daytime radio...

So Radio 1 have re-titled the song to 'S&M (Come On)' TBH that sounds even more sexual than the original title of 'S&M' only

 true haha, BBC are pretty stupid sometimes.

Absolutely loving the new single though. I really like Rihannas saucy side. Lets hope it stays around for a while :)

Are other commercial radio stations playing the normal version of S&M or is everyone playing Come On? :(

I heard the actual one the other day on Kiss at like 6ish (evening) when I was in the car! I like screamed in excitement

What time are the Brits awards on?! They could always make sure her performance is on after 9pm to be on the safe side.
:o A performance of this would be EPIC, I don't want to get my hopes up though...

I listened to the clip of it, it hasn't cut out anyway words...

NEW YORK — Pop star Rihanna's lurid and brightly colored music video "S&M" was "directly derived" from pictures taken by prominent U.S. fashion photographer David LaChapelle, he said in a lawsuit made public on Monday. LaChapelle, who has shot celebrities for magazines such as Rolling Stone, GQ and Vanity Fair, said "the music video is directly derived from and substantially similar to the LaChapelle works."

Rihanna, 22, has sold over 25 million albums worldwide and dominated music charts in the U.S. with singles such as "Umbrella" and "What's my name." The single "S&M", however, has fizzled on the charts, and the video has been banned in some countries for its sexual content. In the suit, LaChapelle said Rihanna had appropriated eight of his images into the video, such as a shot where she is shown in profile against a blue background with a piece of candy on her tongue.

LaChapelle said Rihanna's video copied the "composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting" of his work. He is suing for unspecified damages. A spokeswoman for Rihanna did not immediately respond to a request for comment. - MSN
