I hope that the fact that this song is being released months after a lot of people heard it first doesn't have a detrimental effect on it's overall sales as it did with Tik Tok which could have sold a lot more than the 590k or whatever it has sold so far

Yeah I do too. Although I think Tik Tok gets boring very quickly, whereas personally We R who We R is not as 'throw Away' if you like..

Only because We R Who We R is currently the Athem on a night out!

 

It get's everyone dancing and going wild...I think people forget sometimes that Music is about emotions as well as quality! It's just a feel good song by the Queen of Autotune herself..And she makes no bones about it!

Rubbish. Everyone complained that Tik Tok was released too early! Sure, it leaked over the summer prior but no one really cared. The fact it sold so much (and had crazy longevity) was obviously due to it being released weeeks earlier than expected. I'm surprised they didn't do that again with We R Who We R.

The thing is that Ke$ha was effectively allowing anyone to get her single for free at her own website months before it was due to be released, that surely had a detrimental effect on long term sales?

Hope Ke$ha goes to #1 as "TiK ToK" probably would have had it had the same release strategy.

 

Would like to see Chase & Status get another top 10 as well.

 

Nice to see Beady Eye safely within the top 40 so early - top 20 looks possible now since anyhing with a Gallagher on it tends to have pretty healthy physicals.

 

Not a great fan of the Vaccines track but itt's always good to have a bit more variety in the top 40 :D shame the Wombats look like missing out.
