Promotion HAS already started for it! Some radio stations have already playlisted it, and the video is getting airplay on TV. Tinie and Ellie have also performed it live once, apparently. And it got its radio premiere about 4 or 5 months ago.

It's not charting early at all, a month before the single release is fairly standard for post-album singles when promotion starts. It'll be fine. I really hope it goes top 10, I'm still really annoyed about Invincible *just* missing out :( :angry:

Enrique or Jessie J next week I think, Ke$ha' lead wasn't *that* big last time I saw - personally, I think Enrique could manage it as there was a fake version in the top 200- Jessie J I haven't heard anywhere, so I can't see it going there just yet :unsure:

Yeah, I agree Enrique has more chance than Jessie, especially with no video. I've only heard it on radio once as well, and none of my friends know it. I'd be surprised if she didn't get there eventually though.

I think Bruno might reclaim it, but if RITD holds up well it could be a miraculous climb to the top from Adele, and I guess it would be a chart double too!

Oh yeah, it is getting a single release. :lol: I think there's already a page for the EP on iTunes. Along with the single version (which is the same as the album version, as far as I know, but that hasn't hurt Adele clearly :lol:), the instrumental will also be put up for download, as will an audio of Tinie and Ellie's live performance at the BRITs Launch show, and this, rather strange, remix of it:

Carlos, i think 99p is okay, but i think all songs should be 59p as some already are, its a big difference when you think about people who buy lots of songs over the years, but yeah as you say 99p is quite fair really. Problem is every song is available for free to everyone, so the people who actually do buy music should have a really really fair and cheap price :lol: If songs were like 20p imagine how huge the sales would be, i think they'd be huge :P

 

Yeah, I get what you mean and yes, they'd be huge, but 20p it is not profitable, that's the price of an apple :lol:
