Ke$haaaa

People are forgetting We R Who We R will also have a Massive weekend effect.

Plus It's been on pre order for ages so this should help her maintain her lead.

I really hope she can stay #1 it's about time she had her first.

"About time"?

Are people so used to acts getting to #1 with their first or second single these days that anyone who has to wait until their 2nd(!!!) album has had a long wait?

Woo for Ke$ha :D Would've been so annoyed if Bruno did deny her of #01. Adele and Jessie J I can tolerate, but 'We R Who We R' is amazing.

Any weekend effect Ke$ha's can muster will be more than reversed by the "new-release" effect which sees every single new release start to fall from Thursday afternoon onwards (if not before). Therefore you're also forgetting that new releases are massively front-loaded which will count against Ke$ha as the week goes on.

In addition, as you say its been on pre-order for ages so all this is going to mean is that its even more front loaded that Adele. And she started off ahead of Bruno in the midweeks on both Tuesday and Wednesday, yet ended the week 23k behind him.

Ke$ha may be #1 on iTunes by comparing individual versions but at the moment she is still behind when combined versions are taken into consideration. She's going to need to build a considerable lead on iTunes to have any chance at the #1 spot.

Your forgetting Ke$ha has been on the Radio for months now. I hear WRWWR over and over on a Friday and Saturday night.

Plus her pre-orders would have been much greater than Adele's she was at #32 and is still at #7 in albums with the E.P, and she is already gaining her lead at #1. I reckon she'll do it.

Miley Cyrus - The Climb #86 & 199 !!

Chase & Status - Blind Faith

Ke$ha has not really got a brilliant lead, Bruno Mars still has a significant lead when you combine all his versions.

She's still climbing though, remember she only overtook Bruno this morning.

I still think Bruno's album versions will start to slide slightly, as it's been knocked down to #2 in albums now.

Ergh. Why aren't 'Only The Good Die Young', 'One Of Us' or 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' charting out of the Glee tracks? They're the three best from this weeks episode!

The 'weekend effect' only effects big hits that have been around for more than a month or so.

if anything the weekend effect will work in Bruno's favour rather than Ke$ha's, she'll need to build a lead of around 25% over Bruno's first version

of course, I'm not denying she'll do it, just she hasn't got it in the bag yet

 Really happy for Ke$ha. :D

Hopefully she'll be getting her first UK #1 on Sunday... ^_^

Hoping kesha can do it this week! When she sold out at Sheperds Bush the crowd went MENTAL for WRWWR. Ive got my fingers crossed for a #1 it shouldve happened with TiK ToK

Good to see Someone Liek You debuting highly.

Hopefully Bruno will maintain number 1 officially.

Ke$ha's song sounds cheap and crap (much like herself)

Will be doing an Pop Bar update at around 8ish tonight, including combined popularity, and the top TEN, not five.

So pleased for Ke$ha, Even if she doesn't make it she should peak higher than Tik Tok :D

Just checked the pop bars, Ke$has lead is pretty decent!

Great! :D Hopefully she'll keep a strong lead throughout the rest of the week. ^_^

I like Kesha and Bruno so yay

5. Blind Faith - Chase & Status

24. The Roller - Beady Eye

26. Post Break-Up Sex - The Vaccines

41. Jump Into the Fog (Radio Version) - The Wombats

50. L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. - Noah and the Whale

51. Yeah 3X - Chris Brown

52. Someone Like You - Adele

61. Animal - Neon Trees

62. Rolling In The Deep - Adele

C&S top 5 :w00t: Hope they get there officially now

Good to see PB-US doing well for The Vaccines, it's a bit mid-2000s landfill indie but enjoyable enough and at least bands like The Vaccines can get some singles success still.

L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. is doing amazingly for how little airplay it has, such a feel-good song, hopefully it'll give Noah And The Whale a second big hit

Also great to see Someone Like You doing so well. I haven't heard Set Fire To The Rain but it'd have to be pretty damn good to be a better single choice than SLY.
