Oh my god Lies is AMAZING. I need this album now! I thought it leaked, but I downloaded the file and it was password protected, but the 'password' txt file just told me to go to a link, which I did, and then I had to find a free Extabit premium account, and then download the so called password file, but that had another link which was broken... I think it was fake, I heard apparently that she purpousely leaked a fake version (for some reason).

'Lies' is indeed brilliant! Also, I know I'm late but I LOVE her version of 'Boyfriend'! She really knows how to make a song her own. (See her 'Starstrukk' by 3OH!3 cover!) :wub:

EDIT: Just listened to 'State of Dreaming' too and I'm seriously in love with her!

@MarinasDiamonds

We're about 50 single sales away from being kicked out of the top 10 by JUSTIN BIEBER... NOOOOOO!

Hopefully she'll just manage to stay top 10 tomorrow, I adore Primadonna. It's easily one of my favourite tracks of the year so far, certainly deserves to be a top 10 hit.

oh dear :( I hope she can manage to pick up the sales quickly then. if she gets kicked out by HIM I will be very, very unhappy. I like 'boyfriend' too.

not listened to any of the other leaked tracks yet, I'm hoping to listen to everything when I get the album. it's hard trying to resist though.

I'll be so disappointed if it misses top 10, even though I do like Boyfriend :( I'm thinking she should easily get a number 1 album though, didn't The Family Jewels sell like 60k in it's first week (but only peaked at 5 thanks to sales generally being quite high)? With the shit album sales atm, I'd imagine she'll easily get a number 1 album, which is a great achievement. Obviously it's got to hold up well to be success though :P

27k IIRC but even that would get her the #1 with sales like they are. I'd like to expect slightly higher so a #1 is definitely a large possibility but I don't want to say it's certain either. If she can just hold Justin off! Primadonna peaking at #11 would be horrible.

Nowhere near [60k her week would easily have been enough for #1];

Sound Of 2010 runner-up Marina & The Diamonds makes a strong introductory showing on the album list, earning a number five debut on sales of 27,618 copies.

She should have a better shot this time depending on competition/sales at the time but Marina doesn't seem to have much luck sadly.

Oh, not even close :lol: I swear I read somewhere it passed 60k, but it did seem OTT!

I love how she called Dr. Luke shit American pop and then has him produce her lead single.

Aww I love her personality! I can kinda relate with her in that way too.

Oh and could someone send me a link please? :D

15 MINUTES TOO LATE.

The 5 new tracks didn't make that much of an impression me, bar Hypocrates, which has a lovely CocknBullKid vibe. The extended album version of Fear and Loathing however is off the wall amazing, and might be the best thing she's ever done. My body was tingling when the beat is pumped up at the 3.45 mark, and is the song on the album that best utilises her new electro/pop sound (bar Radioactive, but that wasn't even included in the standard track listing).

The album might feel like a step down from The Family Jewels, but at least she has given us one transcendent track.
