January 29, 201114 yr TV and Radio would be the main way 10 year-olds access music, so they're not go online to search for an 'explicit' version, one of my friends wasn't even aware that 'Forget You' was only a radio edit of 'F**k You!' so it's near impossible to 'stumble' across it. I think I was first aware of swearing at around 9-ish? By the age of 10 you would have probably realised not to swear in-front of parents/adults. When I was 9, I searched for the explicit version of Khia's 'My Neck, My Back' (not knowing what it meant) to the utter outrage of my older sister. And on the poll, I voted for the Travie version as it's getting the most airplay... I'd prefer it to be Kylie's version though. :(
January 29, 201114 yr I think the Kylie version will do better. Kylie is adored here, and her version is far superior to Travie's IMO. Agree, but still radio supports Travie's version so i think this will peak higher!
January 29, 201114 yr The Taio/Kylie version doesn't appear on the digital single The lead track is Taio/Travie & Kylie and track 2 is Taio & Travie
January 29, 201114 yr Author The Taio/Kylie version doesn't appear on the digital single The lead track is Taio/Travie & Kylie and track 2 is Taio & Travie WTF does their record company employ for promo - the captain of the Titanic? Gerald Ratner? They've just lost a sale - I might just have been able to buy it for Kylie's contribution, with just Taio to tolerate, but no way with a rapper on there too! :(
January 29, 201114 yr The Taio/Kylie version doesn't appear on the digital single The lead track is Taio/Travie & Kylie and track 2 is Taio & Travie Really? I guess I'm gonna have to change my crediting of it then, I had assumed the Travie & Kylie version wasn't an official version What's your source for this by the way?
January 29, 201114 yr Sometimes they have a page for the EP on iTunes before its released, so the track-listing is there, and you can listen to the 30 second previews, etc, but you can't buy it until its release date. I don't know if that's the case this time though. Sometimes they have the track-listing on wikipedia pre-release aswell. Edited January 29, 201114 yr by Eric_Blob

January 29, 201114 yr iTunes doesn't have a pre-orderable EP yet. Amazon has it up, and track 1 is the Taio/Travie/Kylie version. The Travie version is track 2. So they include A Taio/Travie version on the EP and not a Taio/Kylie one? Well done, they have lost another sale. Edited January 29, 201114 yr by starryeyed
January 29, 201114 yr I think I'll wait until iTunes have a pre-order EP up. The Wikipedia page doesn't say the tracklisting for the UK specifically.
January 29, 201114 yr I think I'll wait until iTunes have a pre-order EP up. The Wikipedia page doesn't say the tracklisting for the UK specifically. No, it doesn't. :( Although sometimes they have them up really early. Like it has the tracklist for the Wonderman single already. This may be a stupid question, but do all the download sites always have the same songs on the single? Because I know that sometimes albums have specific bonus tracks which you can only get on certain sites, so it could be possible that it sometimes happens with the singles too?
January 30, 201114 yr iTunes usually gets exclusives, so it may be that the Kylie remix is iTunes-only.
January 30, 201114 yr Author If it's true that the Taio/Kylie version only exists for promo, then that seems rather underhand to me, not to mention commercially short-sighted. :( If it were a physical product, rather than a piece of music, then I suspect there might have been a case for a 'False Advertising' claim - promoting a product that you do not deliver.
January 30, 201114 yr It's stupid they are favouring the Travie mccoy one. He ruins it. Kylie's vocals totally make the song. Her and taio has some great chemistry in the song.
January 30, 201114 yr Yeah, a Taio/Kylie version clearly exists. I just can't see the logic behind not releasing it. :(
January 30, 201114 yr It is available for release. It's the best version of the three. Although there isn't just a Kylie version available, it's him and Kylie on the front cover... odd.
January 30, 201114 yr I they they done a version of all three because of Radio 1. The Kylie version is on the music channels and all the other radio stations. So they decided to cover themselves to keep everyone happy. Which is why I think the Travie only version is on the EP and not the Kylie version. I love the song but I think Travie ruins it. I guess I will have to illegally download it, which is something I NEVER do. :teresa:
January 30, 201114 yr They better release a Taio/Kylie version :( radio 2 have only been playing that version
January 30, 201114 yr BRMB have been playing the Taio/Kylie version. I guess Heart FM might play it too. I don't get why they wouldn't release it though. I mean, it's extra sales! Some people might not consider buying any of them except the Taio/Kylie version, and then there's others that might've bought 2 of the versions or something. Perhaps a Taio/Kylie version might crop up on some compilation album or something in the future.
February 9, 201114 yr http://www.7digital.com/artists/kylie-minogue/higher-3/ Just bought it from 7digital. Track one is all 3 singers merged into one track! Sounds FAB!
