Not that I dislike R&B/Hip-hop, far from it, but there seems to be a lot more urban in the top 40 than usual, or is it just me? :lol: I remember thinking there was a lot back in 2003/4 but it's nothing compared to now!

There's quite a bit entering the top 40 atm, you're right. Chipmunk, Jay Sean, Loick Essien, Lethal Bizzle were all released this week and are now top 40 on iTunes, then Nicki Minaj/Drake and Jeremih/50 Cent have recently climbed into the top 40, plus Dr Dre was out last week. So that combined with what was already there before has suddenly tipped the balance a lot more compared to a few weeks ago.

I know so glad she is starting to do well in the Uk hoping for 10 :dance:

Moment 4 Life is a lot better than Check It Out imo, which got annoying very quickly (A bit like Whip My Hair)

Nicki is actually getting quite a lot of promo over here recently, she's been on the music channels like every day this week, well everytime I seem to flick channels, she's on, no wonder Moment in life is climbing and becoming a hit, The recent UK visit work wonders too :)

Prices on iTunes are getting increasingly steeper - 39 of the top 40 are 99p (the exception being Loick Essien), with only 30 songs in the top 200 being cheaper than that. It might not be long before we get our first all 99p top 40.

Seriously though, it'll probably be a future #1, so I hope it's good... I thought their 3rd single (I've forgotten what it's called, but it's the one that sounds like Use Somebody and Club Can't Handle Me) was good, so I'll be fine if it's as good as that, but All Time Low and Heart Vacancy weren't very good imo. :(
