I dont think its that late...

GaGa got to number 3 on 2 days of healthy sales. Adele has 4 days of sales and 2 versions of the song.

It may be close, but I wouldn't rule out Adele or indeed Jessie J of beating the GayGuy

Adele has 7 days of sales, and not 4. She was already #18 in the midweeks with "Someone like you", and those sales could make the difference.

Although I really don't see her getting to number 1 this week. It would be the best option though.

I wonder if her label is going to push back the release of "Set fire to the rain" now, and properly promote "Someone like you" as the second single.

Although she was selling pre performance - she wasn't anywhere in the 40 mids - my comment meant she is having 4 days worth of mega sales to make her warrant to challenge the top spot.

She is 3 + 7 now too

I think I would pass out, it would be some kind of DREAM if Adele was number 1. Seriously, just wow.

LMAOOOOOOOOOO oh dear 'GayGuy' :P

So great to see Adele doing well in the singles as well as albums. SLY could break Top 3 come Sunday at this rate! It's all very close between her, Gaga and Jessie J for iTunes (combined for SLY 2 versions) #1 at the moment
Blimey Adele is at 3, 4 & 5 now. :o

Bloody hell, this is incredible! I would imagine apart from Adele at the moment, the happiest person in the Uk would probably be Adele's bank manager!

PS The public has spoken. Like I've been predicting for the last week or so, obviously not eligible for any award, so she got one song/appearance and she stole the show completely

Now now this is what Gayguy Gaga's song is all about self love, tolerance and being nice.

I could just slap Taio Cruz he gets a great Daybreak slot and ruins it by adding that tuneless, cannot sing to save her life Kimberley-just dreadful be warned.

Adele is 3,4 and 5  she must be close to number 1 combined now :o

She is #1 combined i think so anyway ....

cmon Adelle!! do it do it. I still say she DOES have a chance at #1 this Sun!

Would LOVE to see Someone Like You go Top 3 on Sunday (assuming GaGa and Jessie are too far ahead)!

Has any artist ever held down 3 places on the iTunes top 5 simultaneously before? Michael Jackson immediately after his death possibly?

Adele's opened quite the lead with both versions of SLY combined:

SOMEONE LIKE YOU LIVE AT BRITS #4    Just got in and buying it straight away!

Someone Like You (album version) #3, want to see one of these at #1 on iTunes but as they both there probably wont make it! So happy for Adele, and #5 with Rolling in the Deep!!

I see a number 1 coming on....
