The version of AOTL at #101 is the album version.

Appparently the new Jamie Woon single (remember him? 4th place in Sound of 2011?) 'Lady Luck' was released at midnight as a part of the on air/on sale thingamajig.

what with the whole being on the TV and radio all the time for 4 months prior to its release.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you seem to be the only person who thinks this. I heard it a grand total of twice before its release. One of those times it was a listener request on R1 and the other it was a 'future hit' on one of those TV programmes that count down the top 40.

Well, I listen to Floorfillers on Radio 1, so I was hearing it at the very least once a week. They started playing it around the time Alejandro, All the Lovers, Commander, etc. were popular, so around June time? Shortly afterwards, commercial radio stations started playlisting it, and I was hearing it everywhere. If anything, the most surprising thing about that song is that it's only just left the top 40, 6 months after its radio premiere. It's longevity has really surprised me. It's peak in the chart was one of the least surprising things ever.

And, to be fair, lots of other people were commenting at the time at how they'd been seeing it regularly on MTV for months before its release.

145. Written In the Stars Tinie Tempah Ft Tanishq (feat. Tanishq) - Tinie Tempah

This appears to be a 'fake' version of WITS which is for some reason credited to Tinie. Only added to iTunes 3 days ago but was snooping around just outside the top 200 yesterday and is now climbing quite a lot - I wonder if the small number of sales for this will be combined to the original? I suppose we'll find out next week if this stays high on iTunes, because if it charts separately it should be high enough to go top 200.

Why on Earth have they called it that? Defeat the object much

I don't think Alexis Jordan will hit #1, its climbing too slow.

How will Alexis not go number one? she's climbing slowly yeah fair enough but if she's top 10 tonight she has a good chance? i don't think she will get number one

She's 33 now.

Who thought Alexis was going to make #1? Definitely top 10 I would say, catchy song!

Adele still #1  One of my favourite songs of all time.

GG will deffo be top 10, not number 1 though, it'll be Gaga vs. Jessie this week!
105. The Last Dance - Clare Maguire

I hope this makes a breakthough, as then the even better 'Ain't Nobody' could become a hit, too... :)

Yes, the Hound of the Baskervilles and the case of the February 2011 Buzzjack i-tunes closure. Could be a hit!
