Amazing for Adele, my favourite two singers at the moment are at #1 and #2, 2011 is looking bright. Does anyone know if 'Someone Like You' is the first single ever to re-enter at #1? Or is it the first without being removed? Or if not what is the last song to do so?

It's not really a Re-Entry, it's come up from 47. Bohemian Rhapsody re-entered at No. 1 (although co-promoted with These Are The Days Of Our Lives but I doubt many people bought the record for that) in 1991.

Wish the cash prize could have been for this week;s chart prediction game seeing as I have won it lol!

Hope she can stay #1 next week but think Jessie J may take the lead again next week with Adele dropping off a little

I THINK Adele is the first British act to top both charts at the same time since Lily Allen in early 2009?

Cheryl Cole did in November 2009. :)

I've just realized, I've heard Someone Like You quite a lot on the radio, but I've only heard the album version once! Every other time it's been the Live Lounge version or the BRITs version!
I can't remember exactly, but I think Gettin' Over You by David Guetta had a really weird pre-#1 chart run.

I don't think it actually entered the top 40 though and then fell out & even if it did it was a completely different version that was released so I am not sure if you coud count that.

Or even Maid Of Orleans (The Waltz Of Joan Of Arc) :P

Er, no. It was definitely The Waltz Joan Of Arc.

Number 1 and 4 in the singles chart and 1 and five in the album chart... QUEEN.
Does "Someone Like You" have a proper single cover by the way?

Only the Brits version. It's not TECHNICALLY a single.

Another song that uses the Four Chord progession hits number 1 then.

Yeah, but there were some pretty weird chord progressions in some of the #1s last year. OMG for example!

Number 1 and 4 in the singles chart and 1 and five in the album chart... QUEEN.

Nope, #1 and #4 in both charts

It's officially the Adele chart domination week - 2 albums and 2 singles in their respective charts. Unbelievable.
