GaGa's videos usually have a big effect though. Telephone went from Top 15 to #1 on its release. I think the success of this song will be determined by the video.

Anyway, I see the album version of SLY has overtaken the BRITs version - hopefully the BRITs version doesn't fall too fast.

Pretty much.

 

Jessie J is now up to 83.1% of Adele combined, +13.3% since the last update (and again, she's closer with the Acoustic Version combined as well). That surge was expected though what with Price Tag being performed on GN. I doubt she'll overtake Adele combined before midnight. It's looking like she may well get back to the official #1 next week though, unless either Adele recovers or GaGa has a big video effect.

Hopefully Adele can beat em both - but unless she gets increased airplay/ video play - or a performance on some for of show) I cant see her holding on for another week

Yes, Jessie J's album is released next week. I doubt Adele can get a third week at #1 :( But she'll definitely get a second week anyway so :D

I wouldn't mind Jessie J re-climbing to #1 tbh. It's been AGES now since she's been at #1. I like both songs though, and they've both already been #1, so I literally do not care what happens this week and next week.

There's a fake version of it at #47. That never happens to songs that 'just make the top 10'. The lowest peaking song which had a fake chart highly which I can think of is Like A G6.

 

I'd be shocked if it charted any lower than about #3 especially after how massive it was in the USA.
